In a lively neighbourhood,the hotel is really in the center and you can walk everywhere very easily!The area where the hotel is situated has a bat name. But we had absolutly no problems, be self assured! The hotel is in a noisy street if you sleep in the front. The receptionist is very kind and helpfull, she speaks very well English!She gives good advises; eating, visiting and traveling. It is a simple hotel, with everything you need. 2 minutes of Grand Via. For ladies more coat hangers would be nice. The airco worked well but was very noisy and the front was broken.

Great budget hotelThe room was clean and tidy, but fairly basic. Couldn't expect more for the price. Staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. Location was superb, close to Metro, bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Disinterested, abrupt and rude staff! The first room we were given was of very poor standard with unpleasant, musty odour and plastic shower curtain that had seen better days. No airconditioning, no safe, very basic. We attempted to move hotels giving plenty of notice for the 2nd and 3rd nights of our stay but were told that we would have to pay for the second night. We did get moved to a better room but compared to another 3 star hotel down the road, it was definitely inferior.If you are a non-smoker I would not advise you to book this hotel. All the rooms look out on to a wall and smoke from other rooms (particularly the reception office) finds its way into your nostrils in the early hours.The noise in the hotel was also an issue. There is no soundproofing and the wall described above means that noise from all other patrons bounces back and you can hear most conversations and strange sounds from strangers.Having said that the hotel is situated close to Gran Via and a metro station and is very central. Certainly would not recommend though.

V easy to find, v pleasant staff and very clean hotel overall. Only gripe's are: no kettle which was greatly missed also as it's a room facing the road there was a lot of noise, strangely enough all the noise came in through the (seemingly not working) air con unit.Only slight gripes though. The kettle and tea making stuff is essential I think.

I found this Hotel of adequate standard for the price. Very central location near the Gran Via and access to the metro,the staff very freindly and helpfull. Despite the prostitutes that hang around at the corner of the street, this did not pose a threat and as a lone female traveller i felt safe.

Altho the hotel was o k it is sited in a seedy district just off the Gran Via The hotel entrance is very near what is obviously a pick up place
