we found everyonr to be really friendly and helpful. The food was great and all added to making our weekend away extremely enjoyable.

I booked the room in September and the day was really nice (for Dublin weather). Guess what? When I entered the room it was colder inside than outside. The room was tight but for teh price it did the job. The breakfast room is very dark. Bring your flashlamp if you want to try to read a newspaper over breakfast. Terrible! Overall, good location. Clean room but unexceptional. Ask them to turn on the heating before you arrive and the hotel really could do with improving the lighting in the dining room.

Good for €59The location is very handy, decor in room was a little dated but was clean and comfortable. Noise in the hall travels right into the rooms however, hope there is not a rugby team staying as there was when we were there.

Small and friendly, quiet area, very helpful staff, good breakfasts (cooked and continental), in easy reach of public transport (bus and train) and close to central Dublin. Recommended.

The hotel is clean, pleasant and in an excellent ( South Dublin City) location. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. My only ( slightly) negative comment was the quaslity of the TV reception. However, did did not detract t oo much from my stay and I would definitely stay there again

A little out of the city centre though about a 10-15 minute walk to St Stephens Green, but a good base to explore Dublin from. The rooms are clean and and very warm which is a plus in winter. The only bad thing I would have to comment about would be the noise. Being an old place (and more like a B&B) the walls and ceilings are really thin and we could hear the people above us walking around and talking eventhough the celings were quite high. I felt like I was back in my flat in London with noisy neighbours! I would probably stay closer in the city centre in a hotel if I was going back to Dublin for a weekend.

Very conveniently located in South-Central Dublin. Good value for money from laterooms. Only stayed one night and left before breakfast available, so didn't see restaurant or bar. Hotel room and rest of hotel very clean and pleasant.

Just needed a bed, overnight on business in Dublin. Price good for Ballsbridge, but quality of room just about adequate. Would stay again if nowhere else available at price

Good comfortable hotel ideally located, only downside was, like many hotels, the noise made by firedoors closing
