My wife and I recently spent 5 days at this Chiang Mai 3 star hotel. We generally enjoyed ourselves and the setting is certainly relaxing. The included breakfast was "okay" but lacked variety. The evening food selection was much better and we enjoyed dining riverside. The staff were certainly friendly but the level of actual service was a major disappointment. My spouse is handicapped and we were assigned a room on the second floor of the complex even though the place was nearly empty of other guests for much of our stay. I carried her up and down the stairs as a result. After three days of this someone realised there were empty ground floor rooms (we asked on check-in and every morning about a transfer, only to be told "no") and a room was made available for a night. We had to move again for our last night. Late check-out was another "no." We asked for an hour longer but this too was not possible. So we sat in the lobby while no other guests arrived. In sum, our experience was "so-so" and we will not likely return.

This hotel is simply lovely. It locate on the river in a beautiful setting away from the noisy and crowded downtown area. Rooms are exquisite The staff welcomed our family, were very attentive to our young children and even surprised my husband with a birthday cake! . The breakfast offering is ok and the restaurant is limited.

What a worthy hotel ! The room rate is so cheap but the room is just exactly like 5 stars hotel, there are also planty of complimentary service they provided!!! The restaurant served tasty dishes with a very very cheap price. I never gone out for any restaurants. Outdoor swimming pool is a legend for me. Ping River View is in the front. I love this hotel and I always will!!!!

Lanna Mantra is located beside main river and 15 minutes from town. The hotel is very unique with their excellent complimentary transportation to take guests anywhere in town comfortably. There is shuttle van to town twice a day. Especially there is also shuttle boat from hotel's pier to Varorod Market(most famous market). We were so excited as we have never seen any hotels in Chiangmai have this such a service! The hotel itself is beautiful and lovely. Staffs are helpful and enthusiastic. We love Lanna Mantra Hotel!

Only stayed for one night but thought everything about the hotel oozed class and professionalism. Loved the balcony room where you could actually sit outside and watch the river change from day to night. The pool area is beautiful right on the river.

I have stayed at Lanna Mantra three times for at least one week each stay and have nothing but praise for the hotel. It is very well located for those who are not interested in beaches. Restaurants also good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Every request was met with promptly and cheerfully. I definitely recommend Lanna Mantra.

My wife and I stay for 4 days and this is an absolutely superb hotel. The staff are very helpful and kind and always a smile. The breakfast was ok and the restaurant is great. The location is out of the city arount 10 mins which i love it but people who expect to stay in the city i think it is not the right choice. The pool area next to the river and the garden is marvellous. Room had good view, clean and spacious. One of the loviest places I have been in Thailand and i would recomened this place.

I stayed @ Lanna Mantra hotel with my mom and my sister. Normally one of us have to sleep on the extra bed which no one wanted to. Amazingly, this hotel offered us the Family Deluxe(triple) it was very convenient for family of three. We were so impress because not many hotels have this kind of room available!! The Food was also delicious with resonable price. My sister really love the swimming pool which is beside Ping River. She enjoy Thai Massage by the pool for 3 hours, while mom and I having sunbath. It was so relaxing with the beautiful surrounding. Three of us agreed to spend 1 full day only in the hote but it never been enough for us. We booked with the very cheap rate but it was most worth than it's price!!! This hotel is most recommended!

Lanna Mantra is my favourite place ever!! I can't believe this kind of hotel is still exist. Not only kind staffs but all atmostphere is also fresh me up. The staffs are very helpful, whatever I need they can fullfill it. Once I forget my bag in town(camera and passport were inside), I informed reception. Within 30 minutes, they brought it to me. It was so incredible, but it was really impressive!! Everyone take a good care of me, just like I have many good friends all around. I feel like am home @ Lanna Mantra!

It is very surprise that this hotel locate next to the river and the view from the hotel is incredible. Food dining is good, Room accomodation is standard for 4 star hotel, Staff service is very kind and generous. On the other hand, if you would like to stay in the city this hotel is not suitable for your guy. I would recomend this hotel to the people who want to chill out and relax.

I stayed there last time, the resort located on the riverside named "Ping River". It was very lucky that I was there during the end of the year and thus my experience with family was really fabulous! It is reccommended for me.

I have stayed here many times not for the destination (Chiang Mai) but the hotel itself. I like it for the most part. It's in a great location for relaxing. by looking at the River name "Ping" or sitting in the garden. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was OK for filling up if making an early start and going on a day trip. The staff at Lanna Mantra were friends, helpful. When you stay here it like you stay at your second home.
