A welcome breakThe hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. An added heater was put in our room because of the very cold weather. The meals were excellent.

Great DealI booked an overnight stay with my dad and the hotel is excellent, being a few miles away from the hussle and bussle of Blackpool centre it is ideal for family of all ages. The hotel is on the tram line and bus stop which are just a mintues walk from the hotel. I had a small room which was idea for just staying the night we did and my dad at a roomy twin room, for the price of a single. Both had views of the Irish sea.Nice friendly couple who owes the hotel and their was no problem if you fancy a few drinks locally, best to ask before you book.

The Tramway, Nice Road and the sea in front of the hotel are amazing. Fabulous customer service, Family friendly environment and Lift made my stay even better. The customer service can't be any better. They were so helpful. The underground Bar is amazing and is well decorated and is ready for X-Mas and New Year. The Food is excellent with varieties. All Staffs were A+++ esp The Chef-Girl. Thanks. MAYUG.

Shower was freezing. Wallpaper hanging off the walls. Was like going back in time. The room had a musty smell. But had a nice view and that's it. I will not be recommending this hotel at all.

We booked for 2 nights but on arrival were not booked in. The owner checked and had received both the email confirmation and a fax from late rooms. He could not explain why we had not been booked in. Not a great start. The owner was able to put us up for 1 night but could not guarantee the 2nd. Once we saw our room we decided to just stay the one night. The room was dusty with cobwebs on the ceiling.We went into the bar in the evening and it was also very dated. The wallpaper was hanging off the walls and when we asked if we could have some music on, the owner didn't know how to work the system. Also drinks were expensive, £3 for a small glass of cheap wine.The positives about this hotel are the friendly & helpful staff and it's location, close to tram stop and the quieter end of blackpool.

Parking not so great, but the staff was ever so friendly, and very helpful, beyond the call of duty, when I lost my phone on arrival late at night, helped me such for it. A lesson in hospitality! Also right by the beach and walking distance to the illuminations, THANK YOU.

Owners were very friendly and helpful, rooms were good, beds comfortable,Hotel needs updating as looks old , The only real critisium we had is that the portions for breakfast need to be bigger, Other than that a great time was had by us and we were very greatful l to the owners.

Hotel looks like it is in process of being refurbished, which it most certainly needs! Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. We asked for a family room which we got,but were disappointed with it; very old fashioned,paper hanging off the walls,dust everywhere,dirty carpets and furniture. The miniscule shower room had no ventilation and was dirty, especially the sink and shower cubicle which we declined to use,.again paper hanging from the ceiling. We were only actualy sleeping in the room for one night and the beds were clean,otherwise we would not have slept there. The breakfast was adequate,if a little early at 9.00 for a Bank Holiday! I think if the hotel had been refurbished BEFORE opening then customers would return,unfortunately we won't. Good luck to the present owners anyway,they do work hard.

The hotel was good. Very friendly staff. Location ok, near a tram station, but a few miles from the tower and fun fair.The hotel normally caters for older clientel, but we were 2 families with 10 year old children and were fine. Cosy hotel bar, good english breakfast..... very reasonable. Would stay there again.
