I booked a room on the internet two weeks before our stay so we got a better rate. We have stayed in a few hotels in the ciy, this was one of my favourites. Foyer in the hotel is beautiful. Also in good position.

Service rated bad because the bar/coffee shop service was very slow - otherwise the staff were very efficient, pleasant and helpful

Very impressive hotel, also very pricey but it is worth it. Amazing beds and beautiful bathroom, fantastic service in all aspects. Cannot fault The Langham.

The Langham Melbourne is a fantastic luxury holiday destination for that special weekend away. Staff are so pleasant and welcoming and there are great places within the hotel to enjoy the grand surroundings before heading out to explore Melbourne which is only a few footsteps away. We enjoyed some of the fantastic tea selections in the Aria Lounge. The room was fantastic, if a bit small, with the best king bed ever. The bathroom is superb and the shower is soo nice! A great stay, well worth saving up so you can enjoy the luxury on offer!

Brilliant. Old world charm and service with luxurious facilities. The restaurants are excellent and, again, service is exceptional. Location is central and handy to the city. A perfect hotel for a luxury weekend away. We'll definitely be making it our hotel of choice whenever we're in Melbourne.

The hotel itself was absolutely stunning. The service was fantastic and the room very nice, but there was no complimentry champagne or chocolate on the pillow, plenty in the fridge and any additional items in the bathroom eg. the mini sized plastic shaver etc. was an additional cost. The staff left a small bottle of Mt Franklin water on our bedside tables in the evening, but that cost $7.50. We just expected a little more for $400 a night. We will stay there again next year, but for what we expected we would have to upgrade to a $700 a night room overlooking the Yarra and a suite.

Beautiful entrance, this hotel displays everything a 5 star hotel should, with little extra luxurys, elegance and great customer service. Will definantely stay again!

Staff extremely helpful. Room service of a high standard and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom and shower were a wee bit small and the lighting in the bathroom was quite dim. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay with nice views over the Yarra and Fed Square.
