Lancaster House is a trendy, art deco hotel in northern Bogota, located 20 minutes from the International Airport and near major business, commercial and residential districts. The hotel offers 55 very ample suites ranging from 500 to 900 square feet. There are 45 Junior Suites with one bedroom and one bathroom, and 10 Master Suites with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. my first time in bogota, so i was unsure about alot of things, but the hotel was nice , very clean, the staff was helpfull and friendly, felt safe there ,security there all day and night. i had a small suite which was really nice. nice flat screen t.v. dvd player, room was very modern, full kitchen. the water pressure in the bathroom sink slow, but... the shower was one of the best i ever felt, the water pressure was great , the shower head was great too...and plenty of hot water. only downfall noisy traffic from the highway near by, and bed was alittle hard.its expensive if you drink the stuff thats in your room , such as rum , plenty of chips and candy in room, but you will pay alot to eat it. other than that not bad at all , nice place, and the breakfast buffet was good too, the girl who cooks makes a good omlette and the waiter cant do enough for you. very friendly nice people. location good. and theres alittle shop there were you can get really good cappucino or coffee.

We just stayed at this hotel one night because we had to fly to Bogota before heading out to San Andres. We only stayed one night, and the room was what I expected. It's a not a luxurious place, but it was cheap and convenient. There is no comforter, just a thin bedspread. That's the only thing I didn't expenct. The TV and DVD player were great. They had a big flat screen TV. We stayed in a junior suite, so it had a living room/dining room combo, small kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom had a tub, and it was clean. The shower didn't have a lot of water pressure, but it was ok for one night. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We did order room service because we got there at 10 pm. I got a ham and cheese sandwich, and my daughter got some ice cream. I didn't particuarly like either. However, the free breakfast was good! They made eggs to order, had cereal, fruits, breads, and the coffee was absolutely delicious! The wi-fi internet is a little slow, but if you plug your laptop to the actual internet, it was fast!

Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Clean inside and out, friendly staff, and great amenities in the room which we were able to partake of. My favorite was the nice flat screen TV and DVD player. If you are looking for a hotel that has more of a modern feel than this is the place. If you are looking for a cozy, traditional Colombian hotel than this is not the best destination for that...Overall a great experience.

This hotel is in the northern tier of Bogota on the main boulevard. Although a bit noisy at night, the rooms are spacious and suites very large. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
