The hotel Lakmar has a nice view of the lake, however could be much more nice and clean.

Nothing did not stay. Dirty, roaches,unsafe area felt very unsafe. This motel should have a zero rating I wouldn't let my dog stay in this unit. I refused to stay the night with my grandchildren. There were people hanging out in the parking lot, drinking beer out of the back of a pickup truck. The office window was behind a bullet-proof glass with a drawer.

I've just visited the Lakmar and I absolutely loved it! My room included a seperate room for a kitchen and living room and it made me feel at home. The service was excellent and the front desk was very friendly. I enjoyed relaxing by the lake. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice apartment-style room for an affordable price!

Not only were the rooms delightful, but also the resort motel included a beautiful lake where i went fishing and enjoyed the evening sunset. In the lake-front cottage (in which I was staying) included three seperate rooms and was quiet and cozy. I recommend this place to everyone!

Even though its called the Lakmar Motel, I thought I was in a hotel because of the excellent service from the staff, the lovely atmosphere, and the high quality rooms. I felt as if I was staying in a fully furnished apartment and the view was great! If you're looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay - this is the spot!

This place was awful from the beginning. The "cottage" had no door knob on the front door and was secured on the outside by a lock & key (deposit required) and a small slid bolt on the inside. When you went in - the first thing you see is the curtains hanging from falling rods, nasty, worn, broken down furniture, dirty floors that have not seen a mop in months, only one table lamp in living area for lighting. Issued one set of towels and linens to last for one week. Had to ask housekeeping to sweep and mop the one time she showed up. She did after she found a trash can to use as mop bucket and a mop left behing by a past guest. Grounds filthy, dumpster overflowed with trash and located in front yard of "cottage". The roosters started at 3:00 AM and didn't stop until midday. No phone or internet ( unless I wanted to rent a device for 50.00 that would "prevent the trees from interferring"). Internet pictures do not accurately depict this hotel. By all means, don't stay here.
