What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast is served from 7:00am-11:00am in the main building. We have a $4.95 special Monday-Friday. 2 eggs any style, home fries, toast, coffee. Otherwise there is a full-blown breakfast menu in our Dancing Bears Lounge.
What transport is available to get around?: Whiteface Mt is serviced by a free shutttle that leaves from just outside the
hotel door. There is a free village trolley, too, that will take you from one end of town to the other. You can use the trolley for shopping needs.

There is no organized transportation from the airports. There is a shuttle ($35 pp) from the Amtrak station in Westport, 40 miles from Lake Placid.
What can I do nearby?: We are surrounded by the Olympic venues used during the 1980 Winter Olympics. The furthest venue is Whiteface Mt (skiing, snowboarding), 10 miles away. The arenas and skating oval are just down the street from the hotel. Bobsled and skeleton rides are about 5 miles away. The ski jumps are on the edge of town.
