Date of Stay:

Vicinity to major highway. Rooms were not upscale, small beds.

Not what we had expected. Toilet got blocked and overflowed. It took over three hours to get this rectified and cleaned up and would have taken longer if I hadn't kept on at them. Sports Bar service was awful - young waitresses not interested in 'family types' like us and this rated as some of the worst service I have experienced in my many visits to the States. Room walls paper thin and the room overlooked a service area/ back car park which sucked considering we were at a Golf Resort. Three in the room but only two towels. This is an old worn out dump - be warned.

Air didn't work it took 3 room moves to correct the problem.

This was the worst experience we have ever had...we are world travelers...the only thing worse than the room was the food and the service....this should not be called ""resort"" ...it apppears they are financially challenged and are cutting back on basics...too bad..

The atmosphere was really nice, even with the rain. Staff was very friendly and helpful! I am not a golfer but the atmosphere and scenery of the golf course was very nice! Chalets and homes line the course and almost every window has a view. We had a great time!

I couldnt of had abetter time. The condos were newly refrebished and absolutly beautiful!! Golf and night life also were great! I havent had a better vaction in years.

It was in a relaxing setting and the staff was friendly. The room service prices were not accurate. I ordered a fruit cup that was listed for $4 and it was really $7. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from downtown in a nice relaxing setting near Cheat Lake. The hotel staff seemed to be friendly, however the hotel itself needs renovations to bring it out of the 80's. Our actual room had an awful view but I felt that for the price I actually paid, I shouldn't complain about that. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to someone traveling to Morgan town.

The view was great and the bed was comfy. The hotel had a wild night life with lots of noise. I would stay there again when its not so busy.

Nice scenery. Hallways were not as clean a smell of basement (dungy like smell), cars park too close to rooms. The hotel location is great for a group of business men/women who take a weekend off to play golf and use the restaurant for leisure. It is not however, a family friendly place where kids can be kids because once you enter the resort, you have the feeling of a country club atmosphere and the behavior expectation changes at the door footsteps. That what I felt anyways. I will be honest and say, I am a an African American, maybe my own feelings took the best of me!

This was undoubtedly the worst experience I have every had. The room was filthy, the mattress was the cheapest, not enough towels and what we had were so old they were ragged. The hallway was dirty, the furniture had dust all over it, etc. It was absolutely horrible and never will stay there again.

Friendly, helpful staff and very clean hotel. Air conditioner did not work properly.

"I don't agree with the other posters. I thought Lakeview was nice. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms could use an upgrade, but they were clean. I would definitely go back. We went to the spa for massages and they were great and very reasonably priced."

Conveniently located. Nothing. Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable.

"I can't imagine how this location is rated as high as it is. It must be because of the golf course as the room sure wasn't anything special. In fact, the room was barely on par with some older one star hotels.Additionally, I didn't care much for the location and/or distance from town center (ie..place of business & reason for my travels).Doubtful I'll ever go back..."

Nothing. Very outdated, food at breakfast was left over from the previous day.

No outside noise due to country location. Complimentary breakfast was not included.

Beautiful location looking out over the golf course. The AC unit was just barely adequate, could have been cooler. We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The AC unit was only barely adequate. For sleeping we would have preferred cooler. Staff was very friendly, check in/check out was quick. The sports bar had great sandwiches and looks out over the golf course.

This hotel has a great location just far enough off the main highway to be very quiet but close enough to be very handy.

Great golf course, neat swimming pool, location is excellent. No microwave and refrigerator in my room, would prefer flat TV.
