Description:
A good value family run hotel in an excellent location. The owners of the property are very knowledgeable about the area, particularly Andrew. So if you are interested in seeing some of the more eye catching sites in the area be sure to ask his advice he'll be only too pleased to help. He runs the Lakes Supertours from the hotel reception.(GW 03/2008) This is a traditional Cumbrian slate built property. Probably the easiest Hotel to find in Windermere. Number One High Street. The Town of Windermere is set on a hillside and the Lakes Hotels is at the uppermost point of the main street. The Hotels is literally a stone's throw from Windermere rail station and the main A591.

There is no restaurant as such although the hotel has a breakfast room which is traditionally furnished.
