What are your breakfast options?: The breakfast options are at our restaurant where hot breakfast is served in the range of $9 to $20. We start at 8:30am and serve any time through the day. Early breakfasts can be arranged by appointment if required. Another breakfast option is at the Derwent Bridge Hotel about 5 km away; a continental breakfast with boiled eggs can be provided at a cost of $18.50 in quite pleasant surroundings.
What can I do nearby?: The main entertainment is really the natural environment with many native animals, bush walks (there are many in different terrains) and cruises on the lake. The ferry can drop people off to enjoy different length of walks or they can walk straight from the lodge. Some enjoy fishing. "The Wall in the Wilderness" is a National iconic sculptural interpretation of the history of the area by artist Greg Duncan.
Do you have internet?: We do not have internet facilities or mobile phone reception in our area.
Where can we dine?: We have a restaurant on-site which operates till 6:30pm in summer and till 5:00pm in winter.
What transport is available to get around?: The only public transport available here is a Tassielink bus service and they have different timetables for winter and summer. Otherwise, you can hire a private bus charter for transport in the area.
