Spent two nights, found the room to be excellent value, clean & tidy, staff friendly and knowledgeable, food in both restaurants of an excellent standard. Would book if we visit the area again, have recommended it to family and friends 'FIRST CLASS'

Lake Louise Inn was in a very pretty setting. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our first room was on the third floor of a building with no elevator. We had been aware of that but didn't realize that it could be a little difficult for two senior citizens! We made it up alright with our suitcases only to discover that our room keys did not work! But the houseman was excellent and even after locating my earring which fell over the railing on the third floor, he got us settled in an upgraded room in the main hotel with an elevator. Our only complaint was that even though it was supposedly the honeymoon suite the bathtub which was in a glass enclosure was great but so was the toilet in the glass enclosure. The view was nice and the location was good and the price was reasonable for the area.

It is like a regular Inn with small, congested rooms, there is no air or cooling.

3 nights spent in a shoebox. Very little service with rooms being cleaned (bin not emptied). Have to request everything eg iron and a teaspoon. Too big a price to get paper cups!!!!

Lake Louise Inn has 4 buildings. Location excellent for skiing, about 1 mile from the wonderful Lake Louise Ski resort and located on flat ground near the highway making driving easy in winter. Swimming pool and hot tub in main lodge was very nice. There was nice game room in building 4 with pool table, video, and board games. Rooms were clean and well provided. Great place to stay for skiing.

We stayed in a newer bldg. Small patio on main floor with great view of mountain. Room was clean and comfortable. Prices moderate for area. Don't miss Morraine Lake. Lake Louise Chalet is a little uppity for me. Beautiful area to visit/hike

The Lake Louise Inn is located close to beautiful Lake Louise, Alberta and is in a beautiful setting in the Canadian Rockies. The rooms however, leave a great deal to be desired. They are very small and have tiny windows that allow virtually no air into the room. There is also no air conditioning so that it is very difficult to sleep at night in the warmer months of the year. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant facilities are very good with lots of menue choices.

Room was smallish, but perfectly ok for a short stay.

Unlike the previous reviewer, our room was in block 4 behind the main building. No elevator - had to haul luggage 3 floors up. The rooms were small and boxlike, with no air conditioning and only a very small window to open for ventilation. Unfortuately, when open the noise of the train horns and traffic kept us awake. The town as such comprises a dozen shops for food etc. and the area is suitable more for a day trip from Banff or better still, Canmore.

One person at the front desk was helpful in answering a question. Bathroom very old, furniture old, room very small & smelly. No elevator. I would not recommend this hotel at all. When we arrived, we were put into a section of the hotel separate from the main section. There was no elevator, although there was a chap to help us with luggage, since we were put on the 3rd floor of the 3 story walk up. The stairwells were an early indicator of the quality of the rooms, with rotting carpets and musty odors. When we viewed the room, I could not have imagined anything worse! The curtains were barely hanging in the window, most of the hooks had disappeared. The room was so small, that it took an engineering degree to determine how to fit 2 suitcases into the crowded room. There was barely room to walk, and a strategically placed chair was an invitation to a a great stubbed toe, even with the benefit of daylight. The bathroom had been upgraded with a new toilet, but whoever installed it, forgot about the size in relation to how the door closed. So when closing the door to the bathroom, meant a good tug to get it past the toilet. All the fixtures were very dated, the shower curtain rod was completely rusted out, an indication of the mold and musty feeling throughout the room. An air conditioner might have helped, but there wasn't one, and the small 24 x 30 window barely allowed any breeze.

My wife and I spent three nights here in the main building and our room was elegant and very quite. The beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this motel to everyone.

Had a reservation for an executive king room; however, they did not have that room type availabe on our arrival. We were upgraded to a loft suite with full kitchen. Enjoyed the suite with the exception of the bed. Bed was too small for two adults. Suite is more suited for families with children.

I stayed in one of the outer buildings. Rooms were clean - although a bit on the small side. The staircase to the second floor smelled a bit stale - however it appeared that new carpeting was being installed at the time. We ate in the pub on site - the servings were huge and food was nice. I would recommend this hotel for those wanting to stay in the Lake Louise area and not have to pay a fortune for the pleasure.
