We arrived on a Tuesday after everyone else had checked in on the weekend. The room was on the street corner, with no air conditioning and no cross venilation to get a breeze in the room. When we checked in, the room was 85 degrees. The bathroom was very small and outdated, and had one of the two windows, but couldn't keep open because the sidewalk from the street was inches away. We also were not given a parking space as they were full, so we had to park blocks away on the street or feed a meter, or continue to move your car. From what I could see, if you got a parking space, it was so tight, a mid size car would have trouble parking. The room needed updating as it was old, and we found litter from the last guest in some drawers. There is no housekeeping except for a person who changes out towells once a day and wipes up the bathroom. Since you are a block from the beach, you bring in sand with you and you need towells, which we never had enough of and had to go to the front desk daily to get more towells. The staff could see our dissapointment and tried to be helpful, but no matter what they said, it never turned out to the way they explained it to me.

There are a few reasons we wouldn't stay here again.. One being, upon arrival we were told our water, and only our room, would be shut off the next morning for an unknown amount of time. We were told no other rooms were available to move us to but the room right next to us was vacant until the next evening. Hmmm... call me crazy, but not the best customer service I've had. It was really inconvenient not to be able to shower or even use the restroom on your first morning of vacation. And the showerhead in our room was awful.. The pressure was great but the heads were so bad it felt like you were being attacked by pins and needles. If we would've had better customer service when we arrived, we might actually have styed here again. I hope they learn to do a better job with that. Location was good though.
