We loved this little hotel. It is so much friendlier than the big chains we have stayed in. All the little touches made it feel cozy and homey -- like cute Adrirondak furniture by the pool and candles on the patio tables. We brought our 11 year old and she had fun in the pool and walking across the street to see 4th of July fireworks. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The wine and cheese hour made it extra special and relaxing and the breakfast offered at a sister property down the street was very high quality. This is a wonderful weekend getaway spot!

We stayed in a newly renovated room which wasn't overly large but comfortable. Good bed. Frig and coffee maker. The excellent price included a terrific breakfast at the sister property a few blocks away, as well as a wine and cheese hour. Free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One block up from beach with lots of good beaches nearby. We would definately stay again. We were very pleased.

The Laguna Beach Inn was a wonderful Mediterranean style Inn, a boutique hotel, with unique bedding and furnishings. During our stay, we very much enjoyed the location and the beautiful beach across the way, wood's cove. The service was friendly and warm, it felt like home. They offered complimentary breakfast each morning, with amazing entrees and a complimentary wine and cheese hour each night. The property was charming and quaint. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxation and great service at an affordable price. They even had a pool and ocean views from the deck!

We stayed one night there on Nov. 16th and would stay there again. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is an issue - it's a very small parking lot and part of the spaces were blocked off for some construction work. We managed but it was a bit of a hassle. Our room was on the second level and there's a nice shared patio for the second level rooms with patio tables and piped in music playing. A nice atmosphere for relaxing your day away. We were disappointed our room not only did not have internet but not even a telephone. That was a little disconcerting. Overall a positive impression.

Definitely the cheapest in the area for what was our last minute booking. A reasonable walk of around 25 minutes to get to the 'centre' of the area with various bars and restaurants dotted along. (Mozambique steak house absolutely terrific, particularly the seafood curry). Rooms are small and the place is remininiscent of a simple travelodge thats been spruced up. Lovely staff, plenty of parking, comfortable bed.

Pride of ownership shows in this clean, well-appointed motel. The staff was very cheerful and counless touches like candles burning in the office, fresh apples and nice room decor (with fridge and coffee) make this one of the best values I have seen - especially in a spendy beach area. It is on PCH, so some traffic noise in early evening. The wine and cheese was a very nice touch and the "off the menu" breakfast at the sister property up the street is simply the best ever. I have stayed in a zillion motels and this is one of the best values you will find. And to top it off, you can walk across the street to Woods Cove Beach, which is a beautiful secluded beach. You can walk to decent nearby restaurants and the sandwich place across the street will fix you a picnic lunch to take to the beach for ten bucks. Can't beat it!

I rarely write reviews for hotels but this place is worth rating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laguna Beach Inn. We stayed 2 nights in April and could have easily stayed longer. An excellent location for the shops and the gorgeous beaches and also value for money. The room is very nice, clean and stocked up with lovely soaps and shampoos etc. Next time it would be nice to have a ocean view room. We loved sitting outside on the balcony for the cheese and wine hour, great wines. The internet was fast and we had free parking which was all a bonus. The breakfast which was included is at their sister hotel (La Casa del Camino) a short walk down the road at K'ya Bistro, excellent food and service, loved the pancakes. We took our breakfast up to the rooftop lounge with views of the ocean, absolutely stunning. We couldn't fault anything on our stay the staff on the reception were great and gave us some 10% off coupons for local restaurants, which we used for Eva's Caribbean Kitchen. We will be back one day, thanks for a lovely stay.

The room was small but clean. It is right next to PCH and very noisy especially at night. This place seems to have only one person on site and they do everything, so sometimes you can wait in the lobby. No phones in the rooms so if you want to contact anyone who works there over to the lobby you go. It has a sister hotel down PCH where you can have breakfast with a discount. Its about 6 blocks and an short walk but Laguna Beach sidewalks are an obstacle course with all the parking meters. Conserve water signs in rooms and lobby but they never came to fix a leaky toilet and shower. Walls are thin. Wine and cheese was good but because it is not supervised, sometimes you will find there is no wine. the other selfish guests have taken a whole bottle. I would only stay again if desperate.

Really enjoyed our four day stay. The staff was great, accomadations just right and they are pet friendly. The pet charge per day could be lower.

I picked this hotel because of all the other reviews I read. Was a nice comfy bed, room was on the small side, but had alot of amenities here. Frig in room, nice pool although small, wine & cheese in evening, and free breakfast at sister property was delicious. Should try the rooftop lounge there also. Would definitly stay here again. Wouldn't wait til last day to go to Woods Cove across the street next time.

Close to the beach and had a great view from the sundeck/patio. Our room was a queen with the jacuzzi tub with hard wood floors and it was really nice. A little small but it worked for us and the bed was quite comfy. The bathroom in our room was huge and the tub was a great ammenity that we fully enjoyed. Breakfast at their sister hotel was really good and it wasn't that far of a walk. When we went they were doing some renovations so parking was limited on some nights. It was a little moisy but what can you expect when your on PCH. Overall we really liked the hotel and will be staying there again when we go back to visit.

The rooms are on the cozy side, but we got one of the rooms recently renovated. It was tasteful and nice. The wonderful breakfast, coffee terrace and evening wine and cheese were all icing on the cake! A very enjoyable way to stay in the breathtaking Laguna Beach area.

For the price and location I would recommend the Laguna Beach Inn. The rooms are very nice but also very small. The street noise is constant until late into the night. The pool, very nice but for relaxation, again, right next to street(noisy).Overall for price and location and niceness of room I would recommend the Laguna Beach Inn.

Good value and the wine and cheese reception is a plus. The rooms are small, but we were not in the room long, becaue the location is convenient to the quaint shops and the many beaches. The Woods Cove beach is about 2 blocks from the hotel, a short walk. Woods cove is not crowded and is beautiful with the sandy beaches and rocky shores. Dolphins can be seen in the late afternoon & snorkeling is available. The hotel had an umbrella, some beach towels and snorkeling equipment to borrow for the day...if you are the first ones to get the one set I saw in the basket. Free coffee in the morning and the breakfast is free up to $ each to be used at another restaurant about 6 blocks away. You will need to drive to the restaurant, but the breakfasts are very good. Coffee is not free in the restaurant, so load up at the hotel before breakfast. The hotel is in a central location to take day trips to the surrounding areas. We hiked on the many trails in the preserves nearby. Great hiking and birding. The staff was very friendly and helpful and helped to make our stay enjoyable. We would stay again.

Laguna Beach Inn is in a great location. I was very satisfied how it was on the main highway close to shops and food. However, the room was very small. There are parts of the bathroom that were unfinished. Although the bath tub was large and romantic, the plug broke so we could not fill the water. The hotel dining area was not up and running, although they did have free wine and cheese from 5-6:30(which we did not attend). But overall I was not to bad. Although I would try a new hotel next time, I didn't leave irritated or unhappy.

room was very small. it was decorated well and clean, but the carpets were somewhat stained and dirty. I walked across the room and back in clean white socks that were then pretty dirty. It was pretty noisy in morn with other guests closing doors and drawers...kept waking us up. Had to turn the fan on high and put cotton in ears. Nice wine and cheese in evenings. 3 stars

The Laguna Inn was clean but too small for even one person. The lighting was bad in the bathroom and the smoke alarm went off for no reason for at least 2 mins. No one notified me if there was a fire or not. You could hear a lot of noice from PCH. It was very hard to sleep at night. Although the location was nice, the room just didn't have enough for the money. Even the TV was antiquated and no phones in the room. Overpriced for the area.

An old school motor inn. It was clean and fairly well kept up. They have a wine and cheese happy hour which was cool. A cute pool that they light up at night. Right across the street from tide pools/beach. We only stayed one night but I will remeber this place. It was an awesome value!
