The rural house is a single-storey building with exterior stone walls 60 centimetres thick and woodwork on the outside and the inside. Local villages, such as Chilla, Los Empalaos in Valverde, El Peropalo in Villanueva and El Jarramplas, are famed for their popular traditional festivals and are also accessible by car.
