The Hotel is built in series of Mediterranean style with white stucco villas along the beach with terra-cotta tiles throughout. The main building of the Hotel sits perched above the beach and is the focus of many activities. The award winning signature restaurant features a sophisticated blend of French cuisine with a Caribbean flair and the famous wine cellar containing over 3000 bottles of the worlds finest vintages are located in the main building. Complimentary to La Samanna guests are all non-motorized water sports and waterskiing use of 3 championship tennis courts and use of the Fitness Pavilion. Other Hotel facilities include the Rendezvous Pavilion for small meetings and receptions/ Elysee Spa and Salon an outdoor/ freshwater pool/ Poolside Grill and Beach Bar. Fitness Pavilion provides aerobic and weight training equipment featuring: treadmills, Stairmasters, recumbent bikes, elliptical cross trainer, individual station Cybex weights circuit and dumbbells.
Restaurants: La Samanna's renowned dining room, The Restaurant, has been claimed as one of the finest in the world not to mention one of the most romantic settings overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The wine cellar contains thousands of bottles of fine and rare vintages.

The Cuisine at La Samanna is a blend of French, Mediterranean and local island ingredients under the watchful eye of Chef Erwan Louaisil. Chef Louaisil, background includes 3-star Michelin experience at La Tour d'Argent, Paris, Le Moulin de Mougins, French Riviera and Pierre Gagniere, St. Etienne plus terms of duty with Daniel and La Grenouille, New York.

On the more casual side, a very special treat is to plan a lobster barbecue on the beach for lunch, or in the evening with flamed torches, open bar and island music. The selection each morning at our breakfast buffet pleases guests from around the world while enjoying their coffee with a peaceful overlook of Baie Longue.

Our Food and Beverage Manager will assist you with customizing menus for each event, whether a Caribbean Lobster bake on the beach or a formal themed dinner poolside.
