We have stayed in the Napa Valley before. It is an enchanting place to visit, and we were very happy to stay at La Residence, an upscale but not pretentious country estate. Our room on the second floor of the main house was beautifully furnished with a nice deck overlooking the valley. The staff was friendly and most helpful. It's a great place for a romantic weekend in Napa.

Lovely place to stay close to many wineries. Not far from main highway so some rooms very noisy at night. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Everything was very nice and we would stay again. The B&B is now owned by the Hall winery. The pool was unavailable and we had to ask for the jacuzzi to be made ready. The staff was extremely nice, the breakfast was good and server *, made sure you had whatever you needed. The place is beautiful and with the fountains and the frogs, you could hardly hear any noise from Hwy 29. We stayed at the 'Mansion' which is the oldest building and could not have asked for a better place. We had the porch all for ourselves and sat at night listening to the frogs and the rain. Wished I could have stay longer..,.but vacation ended./ I recommend this place to anyone that really wants to get away and relax.

We went for a weekend getaway. Our friends booked at the Marriott and ended up being very disappointed after they saw our hotel. We ended up just talking in one of the many conversation areas with beatiful padded patio furniture. The breakfast in the morning was bannana pancakes with a Merlot Syrup that was to die for!!! Beautiful spacious room with complimentary wine and everything needed for a romantic getaway.

Our stay at La Residence was more than perfect. Great location, between Napa and Yountville. It is surrounded by a small vineyard...and divided in small houses, quaint and beautiful. Service was amazing, concierge was very helpful, she booked our appointments for the wineries and met with us to give advice and information about the region. Breakfast (fresh delicious omelets, fruit, toast, juice, coffee and pastries) and wine tasting (every day) is complementary. Great price. Highly recommended for your next trip to Napa, I would definitely go back.

I had a wonderful romantic weekend at this boutique hotel. The gardens were amazing, almost magical at night with lights and fountains. While I wouldn't recommend bringing younger children this hotel was definitely one of the best I have ever experienced.

This B&B has a staff that bends over backwards to be accommodating and assure you are satisfied. An evening wine tasting fits well with the main activity of the Napa area. Room was nice, but very small. Bathroom was nicely done.

La Residence in Napa Ca. was a great romantic get away for new empty-nesters. Our room was upgraded to a suite that included two bathrooms, a living room and a wrap around porch where we had our morning coffee. We enjoyed our evening wine tasting and the wonderful gourmet breakfast served as an all inclusive. This hotel had a warm bed-and-breakfast feel often overlooked when staying at big hotel chains. We enjoyed the friendly staff, fellow travelers and our stay at this Napa Valley hotel.

The hotel itself is very quaint, looks like an european inn with vineyards nearby. It has alot of character. However, it had drawbacks including the small room, the hot water ran out (couldn't take a shower at night or in the am), also the tv is very small. I was very disappointed with our room. The staff is friendly, the included breakfast is good, and the wine and cheese reception is nice.

La Residence is a beautiful property. Would be great for a romantic getaway. The grounds upkeep was beautiful, exactly what I would expect when staying in napa. The room was also very nicely done. They have a complimentary bar in the room which was nicely stocked with water and snacks which I thought was a nice touch. The location was perfect for what I was there for which was to run a marathon, the starting point was 5 minutes from there so it worked out perfect. Overall I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone, they will not be disappointed.

La Residence what a great find! The fireplace in the room was a real treat. The room was spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is very attentive, friendly and very accommodating. The location was excellent for touring the Napa and Sonoma Valley's. We enjoyed meeting other guests at the complimentary wine tasting every evening and delicious breakfast in the morning. Book it, you won't be disappointed. My wife and I can't wait to return.

This hotel was a fabulous find for a birthday getaway! The room was extremely comfortable and well decorated. The grounds were beautiful guarding any noise from HWY 29. We very much enjoyed the wine and cheese served each evening and the heavenly continental breakfast (definitely not one of those cheap buffets that hotels label as breakfast). The hotel is also situated in a very central location within the Nappa Valley. We would go backa again and again.

Although La Residence was not the easiest place to find, it turned out to be quite a find. From the moment I drove into the property, with its sculpted landscaping in full bloom, I had a very good feeling about our stay. And that feeling remained for the duration of our stay. I had only planned on staying for two days, but it was so relaxing, we stayed for four. The Inn consisted of several building on a lovely property but maintained a B&B feel. I cannot say enough about the property manager of La Residence. From the time we checked in, he made us feel that our comfort wsa a priority. The breakfast in the morning was always quite nice. And in the evening, a very good wine was always served with a variety of hors d'oeuvres. After four days at La Residence, I was truly relaxed and hated to leave. I'm looking forward to my next stay in wine country and I know where I'll be staying.
