The front desk clerk at check in was very rude, didn't know much about coustomer service. Also the inbternet didn't work that eve ning, was able to get on it first thing in the morning hurriedly before we checked out.

Room was nicely appointed, seemed clean with one exception, breakfast setup worked well.

I liked the hotel for the most part... except it smelled smoky but the problem that I had was that I booked through online travel website . Upon check in they asked for my credit card and CHARGED ME FOR THE ROOM - again! When I checked my online banking and called the hotel, they told me well look at what we charged you ... you would have saved booking direct- NOT WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR. I have now called twice and I am still trying to get my money back. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD!

I liked having quick access to the stores, restaurants and mall on the West side.

Nothing. The smell of the room. The worst hotel that I experienced. It seemed that La Quinta had enough non smoking room. They could not change smoking to non-smoking. I could not stay there anymore, and I had no choice but to check out in an hour after my check-in. I have had very good experiences from priceline deals, but la Quinta ruined all these good feelings.

We stopped in Amarillo on our way through to Central Texas and had a very pleasant experience. Dog friendly hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I will stay there on my way home now too.

Visiting a relative in nursing home. Needed rest when I got it and got it.

The AC worked great, good cable channels. Rooms opened to the outside, hotel difficult to find, staff rude. I could not find La Quinta because they do not have their own sign, they are actually attached to a Days Inn. After driving 12 exhausting hours I was relieved to check in so rapidly. I unpacked my car, carried everything up three floors (no elavators) and tried to open my room. The key didn't work, but I kept trying until someone opened the door! The room was occupied by a shirtless man, standing in his boxers! I put my stuff down and tried to call the front desk to find out which room I was actually mine, but they never answered! The man also continued to stand in the doorway, so I had to grab all of my stuff, haul it back to my car, and drive back around to the front! The young man at the front desk became very annoyed with me that I was upset about the mistake. If he had apologized or acted sympathetic I would have immediately chilled out. Instead, he rolled his eyes and could not understand why I was so frustrated! He even asked me, do you want the room or not? He told me the last people who got the wrong room didn't want to bother with it. I told him I made this reservation far in advance, because I spent all day driving and he said, that's why most people make reservations. He just gave me alot of grief, when he was the one who made the mistake! Plus, my actual room was still on the 3rd floor, and if I had gotten through to the front desk, I would have been able to carry my stuff around the corner, instead of having to repack and then unpack my car! I also didn't feel safe in the hotel, because the grounds/pool were poorly maintained. The room itself was clean enough, but the sheets, towels, pillows and blankets were of very poor quality. I will never stay at a La Quinta Inn again.

The hotel was right off the highway and was a perfect stop while traveling through. It was a great deal for the price and was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Nothing at all. It was close to restraunts but in a bad part of town. It was filthy. The beds were full of bugs, the floors dirty, and everything seemed broken. Me and my family got in late and checked in. The front desk person didn't help at all. She didn't even say hi when I came up to her. We got to the room and there was bed bugs in one of the beds! The carpets were so dirty that the bottom of my feet were black. The bath seemed like it hadn't been well maintained. It was a nightmare!

Was told by the front desk that our room was non-smoking - it was NOT!!!!!!! It was late in the day and we had tickets for the TEXAS Drama so we had no choice but to stay. Rooms were very small, the cream-colored sheer curtains were black from smoke, the room smelled terrible, they were having the parking lot paved so finding a parking space was next to impossible!!!! At check-out the next morning, we were given a small coupon for our next stay. What a big waste of ink and paper because we will never stay here again.

For the price, the result is so not worth it. The front desk staff wasn't particularly friendly (especially when I complained about the vending machine taking my coins without delivering the product), the room had clearly seen better days (both of the chairs were ripped, the television had purple streaks on it) and the walls were so thin I could hear the screaming couple next door early in the morning.

The phones did not work. This was an old, run down La Quinta that either needed some renovations or they needed to sell it. The phone system was down, so no wake up calls. The AC in my room had a mind of its own and worked when it wanted to.

I only chose this LA QUINTA INN because of the satisfactory past stays at the LA QUINTA INN, in Scottsdale AZ and relied on the travel website's travel guide book recommendation giving this site 3 diamonds. How wrong I was. How wrong they are. 1) I requested a non smoking room. It stunk of smoke. 2) There was no remote for TV 3) Unable to connect to WIFI....could only get Days Inn connect next door 4) No clock in room. Had to rely on room service for wake up. 5) No pen or paper in room 6) Found articles left in room of previous guest that weren't removed. 7) Several stains on the blanket 8) Bed skirt was ripped and hanging off the bed onto the floor 9) Other bed was in disarray under the bedspread. 10) The elevator made horrible grinding noises and was filthy, walls and floor, also had broken ceiling tiles and rust 11) The waiting area for elevator was filthy. Paint chipped doors and walls,on doors were gaping holes from rust and years of decay and neglect. 12) Concrete on walkways were crumbling with pieces missing 13) Paint on stair rails chipped and rusted 14) Pillows were well worn and flat and had miserable odor 15) Towels frayed and paper thin 16) Carpet stains..lots of them I have also contacted the travel agency and informed them of the serious conditions at this LQ site. I have also sent them the photos. Very disgusted and disappointed. Staff was indifferent. I would definitely not recommend this location. Numerous complaints about this location all over the Internet on travel site comments.

I was there for a high school graduation. I liked this motel than the previous one I stayed at and thought I had a very fair price. Overall I was pleased.

Poorly maintained and dirty. The price is high for the condition of the property. The bath tub was dirty and the room was worn. There are several other motels in the area with as good or better price in much better shape. The free breakfast was good with a variety of things to eat.
