Every time I went to the front desk. (twice) I wait and wait, and then it was finally my turn [...] ask me how he could help me then of course phone would ring he's put his finger up and turn his back to me to spend another 4 or 5 mins on the phone. The first time this happened he book 2 appointments while I stood there. So I just stood there, thinking really?

Pets were accepted. Not enough options to choose from for breakfast. Nice stay. Friendly staff and the hotel was clean, especially the pool area. Not many TV channels to choose from and their breakfast option isn't the best. Pets were accepted with no additional charge which was great for me. I would come back.

In light of the positive reviews of this hotel we decided to stay here on our way back home from a visit to Illinois. Although the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very nice, we were quite disappointed with our room. The room was fairly clean, but the furniture was old and beat up, the desk was falling apart, and there were cigarette burn holes in the bed quilt. This hotel was purchased from another hotel chain about a year and a half ago, and it doesn't look like anything has been done since then to improve it. We would probably not stay here again.

Hotel is located right off interstate. Rooms are very nice. The pool and hot tub was very clean and well kept. Breakfast was very good with waffles, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, muffins ect.

Staff was friendly and tried to answer all questions. We arrived late and left early. Breakfast was fine. Other than the uneven sound when switching channels on the TV everything was fine.

Family friendly. They told me that I couldve gotten cheaper rates through them. Very comfortable easy access and fun for the kids.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels, but this was my first stay at a La Quinta Inn. The hotel & room were very clean, the amenities met my needs, the bed was VERY comfortable, and the complementary breakfast was very nice. A good value for the price, I'd stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, even with loads of high school girls softball players staying there. We never herd them, our room was very quiet. The breakfast was plesant, but nothing more than expected.

The hotel had 1 person answering phones (incoming and from hotel guests). I called for some directions, and no one answered. When I got to the hotel that same person was checking people in and answering phones. When my turn came in line, I was interrupted 3 times while she answered calls. I had the same experience the next morning when I went to check out. There was 1 person at the counter (although it was a different person). The phone was ringing off the hook, and the guy obviously didn't know how to work the phone system. I wouldn't even think about going back... There was no redeeming factor in this hotel.

Wonderful staff and facilities. Liked everything. Staff was wonderful at check in and checkout. We enjoyed the location as it is close to a mall and good restaurants. We will be staying here again in June.

The La Quinta in Clive has a very friendly and helpful desk staff, a comfortable bed and furnishings, and good breakfast selections. The number of TV channels was limited and the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke.

The entire hotel was very clean and relaxing. Can not beat it for the price. Breakfast had lots of options and tasted good too.

I liked the location, the stairs leading up to our room we're pretty private and we didn't have to see too many other people, the hot tub was good. The bathroom was small and smelled like body odor. Overall it was a good place to stay for the price, nothing fancy or special about it. The bathroom smelled like body odor to the point I didn't even want to take a shower (and didn't). I think it needed a new shower curtain. If you were staying with a friend or children I think the size of the bathroom would be a problem, you could hardly turn around in it. The bed was comfortable, but needed more pillows for a king size bed. The movie selection was good. We did hear some hallway noise, but nothing that kept us up at night. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing there was even a spot you could go outside and sunbath. I might stay there again, but I will check the shower curtain right away and complain if it smells again!

For one night, it was great. Good rates, clean room. They were painting the hotel, but that did not affect our stay. Good restaurants within walking distance across the parking lot. Great continental! Very friendly staff.

We were treated very well during our stay. We used the pool and hot tub which were very nice. The free breakfast was very good. Our room was clean and comfortable and my husband was surprised and very pleased that there was a recliner in the room . We would definately recommend this hotel to all age groups and we would stay there again !

Breakfast was good. La Quinta staff was very rude. I was not pleased with my stay at La Quinta. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff could not find our room. Soon we were informed that "oops" she let some other guests stay in our room. She called her manager and repeatedly told him that she had let other guests stay in our room. After a long time, they decided to stick us in an old stinky room (which I believe they did not use regularly, only in a pinch). I had requested that we have two double beds as we were traveling with our children. This was a king sized room. I was not happy. Then she became very rude and told me that I get what is left. Do I want to call someone to complain about it, she said. I felt like I had no options as it was late and I had already paid for my room. I believe that paying in advance was a big mistake and definitely not a savings.

Staff was ever friendly even though I initially had a problem signing on to the wireless internet. The heater cover rattled every time the heat came on. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was welcome. The pool was clean and user-friendly---having access to the open shower made me feel safer.
