Internet connection was free. The free breakfast. The visit was very nice, cool, clean and comfortable.

When we checked in I asked for non smoking. We went to our room and sure enough it was a smoking room. So we went and changed rooms. The bathroom was not clean. It had a used bar of soap with a hair on it still in the shower. The shower had a half used bottle of shampoo sitting on the edge. There was a high school group staying there also. They sat in the common area all night long talking and were extremely loud!! To top that off a dog barked all night. We could not wait to get home to get a good nights sleep.

Got a great package deal with a rental car. It was quite a bargain. Wireless always worked. Room was fine. Breakfast was free and great if you want something quick like juice and a muffin. Had a minor problem with my phone, but the staff worked to correct it. Chico's, the Mexican place next door, is really good - and fast. The road construction nearby made it tricky to get back from Texas Tech. But I figured it out. Don't expect the Plaza or Waldorf, but this was the right place for me. I stayed an entire week - nothing to really complain about.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not know that the hotel was under remodeling and that the pool was closed. Especially with this heat, we were disappointed since having a pool was one of the reasons for choosing this LaQuinta. Wish that we had been notified ahead of time so that we could have stayed somewhere else. We were also disappointed with the breakfast bar, as it was very limited on the selection. Perhaps once their remodeling is completed the amenities will improve.

Renovated Hotel, still has some maintenance problems like clogged sinks and such making it not quite worth the price...

When I first checked in the clerk seemed distracted and was neithet friendly nor unfriendly- more nonchalant- the maintenance man and cleaning personnel were very friendly which made up for her attitude

Very responsive, accommodated our requests exactly. The temperature in the lobby was a little hot. Very good value, the level of service exceeded the price we paid.

Location is convenient to Texas Tech. The breakfast menu is nice but dinner choices require a car. There is a Mexican restaurant next door but it's unlikely you would want to eat there more than once. A map of Lubbock would help. The beds are the biggest liability with poor lumbar support. Towels and linens are adequate and cleanliness is good. Ongoing road construction in front of the hotel is a slight inconvenience. Recommend the hotel only if you can get a good night sleep on any mattress. No problems with noise at this hotel.

this hotel is not wheelchair accessible unless you like a room in front of the pool ! too much nosie. the indoor room was not roomy for a wheelchair you can only get thru the door of the room. other than that our stay was okey.

All rooms are accessible inside the building, which was bright and cheery. Nothing is close by within walking distance, ice machine was out of order. The hotel is clean and safe with interior entries to all rooms, avoiding the weather. A large area in the center of the hotel is dedicated to sitting areas, and a large area is devoted to breakfast. Checkout time is flexible until 2:00 pm. Requires driving to reach restaurants and points of interest.

Super friendly staff. Very accomodating. We arrived a bit early, but were put in a room. We were allowed late checkout due to an activity. No business center, but clerk allowed me to access my flight info in her office above and beyond! Great experience. I had no experience with Priceline, but will definitely use again. Hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and the facilities were clean and comfortable! I would stay there again!

Friendly staff, clean. Outdated worn furnishings in lobby - foyer very unattractive . For the money I was satisfied with the hotel - it's an older one that has been refurbished but still needs updating - they were understaffed at the front desk - but that one person was very pleasant - our room was clean and comfortable and we were allowed to check in two hours early - not a romantic getaway but for visiting kids at college it was alright.

There is an el Chico restaurant and park within walking distance. Some maintenance staff were very rude and unfriendly. The common area in atrium was not well maintained.

I liked the location. The carpet was a little dirty. We had a hard time getting into the room because the door handle was about to come off. The hotel personnel told us to turn the knob up. It worked, but not every time. It was quiet.

Good price and breakfast is always good. I was given a smoking room and clearly indicated I wanted non-smoking. I has previously stayed here, but, was disappointed that I wasn't given a non-smoking room, which is what I had requested.
