Very clean, nice modern rooms and wireless internet. Very nice, very clean and well set up room. Lobby and grounds were pretty and well maintained.

Our first room, our toilet did not work when we initially got to our room. One of the staff came with a plunger..we ended up in the next room. Pros: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were professional. The continental breakfast was good. Cons: When I took a shower, brown water initally came out, their was mildew on the curtain and their were hair stubs from shaving on the shower curtain from the previous guest(s).

The rooms had plenty of space and the beds were comfy! Small front lobby. Excellent services and clean rooms.

I was very surprised when I arrived at our hotel room. For some reason, I had a feeling that staying at La Quinta Inn was not a really good place to stay but my friend made the reservation. Checkin was extremely quick and easy since we prepaid with the travel agency! After opening the hotel door, I was shocked at the updated, contemporary look of the room. The beds had very comfortable sheets, the decor was neatly laid out, it had a nice sized bathroom, and the room had an upgraded feel. The staff called to check in on us about an hour after we checked in to see if we needed anything and to verify that we were happy with the room. We did check out the pool and hot tub, which were great! The location of the hotel is great; very close to the beach! I would definately stay here again! And I have a new repect for LaQuinta Inn's!

The room decor was fantastic. This hotel met my expectations. I was really disappointed with the hotel, due to having to switch rooms four times and all for safety reasons. The latches on the door were not secure, the shower drain was clogged, the backup door locks didn't even have the locking mechanism to lock the door. The other rooms had the same problem and the lamp shades were missing from one of the rooms.

I was staying at htis hotel for a concert and was only there for 2 days. The room was great, but when we whent to try and check in the staff were really unfriendly. When we checked out, at least then, they were nice. The parking was great. The pool was good. So all around the stay was "OK."

I liked the pricefor the hotel and the free breakfast. The hotel was not as clean as I expect a hotel to be. I was not impressed with this hotel. The elevators were filthy and hallways were not clean. The seal was broken on our refrigerator so our food did not stay cold. The swimming pool also seemed like it was not cleaned in some time.

We went to see the Boardwalk Christmas lights and had fun. This is just a couple blocks from the beachfront and boardwalk and you can walk it. Great location near the Neptune scupture on the boardwalk and 31st street. Beds were very comfy with cotton high thread count sheets and pillows. The checkin was quick and friendly and after we were in our rooms they called to see if we needed anything which was a nice touch. Breakfast bar was very basic with cereals, biscuits, juices, coffees but it was very clean and well tended. This was a Comfort Inn til a few months ago. They are upgrading everything (new carpet, paint, beds, furniture, etc). They just completed the 7th floor at the end of Dec. 2007 and it was lovely and they are continuing to do the rest of the building. So their was a sign that there will be noise form 9-5pm but we were on the second floor and never heard anything. Request one of the newer lovely rooms. If you arrive late and want food their is a Subway chain next door. They were having some trouble with the elevator the morning we departed so we had to carry our luggage down the stairs which was not a problem for us.

The honesty of the staff. Is a nice clean hotel with very comfortable rooms, and most of all very honest staff, I'm happy to have stayed here.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn. It was conveniently located just a block away from the beach. The breakfast in the morning was really good too, much better than just continental. It was a little pricy for a Comfort Inn, but that's the price you pay for location. i would stay here again.

The hotel was clean, beds were great and the breakfast was good. This hotel was clean, comfortable, very close to the beach and main strip area in Virginia Beach. I would recommend it to everyone.

It has wireless CD TV. Broken elevator. La Quinta was a very nice hotel the elevator was out of order but using the stairs was not that bad ! the pool was very nice the first night it was too warm but the others it was great the room was very comfortable pull out sofa and an LCD TV.

Everything seemed to be in good condition. The hotel is situated in a very nice area. The service all around was okay; in particular the woman at the front desk was ill-mannered, and not at all nice. The attendants at the cafeteria were unfriendly but the major concernI think it's too expensive. Thanks.

Extremely clean, neat & tidy. Recently renovated, close to beach, reasonably priced. Area leading to hotel is kind of run down. I would highly recomend this hotel. Reasonably priced, clean neat recently renovated rooms. It exceeded our expectations. Freindly staff, breakfast included is a bonus when you are travling with a family on a budget, that alone saved us about $40.00 per day in meal cost.

Recently updated room, very comfortable bed, nice restroom. Old elevators. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms had recently been updated and were very attractive, as was the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable. Good location near the beach for a good price. We were very pleased with what we got for the money.

Friendly staff and nice amenities. Carpet was a little dirty on the first floor. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was a reasonable distance from the beach and had very nice amenities. The contintental breakfast was very good, and they allow pets. The employees were very nice, but I can not say that for the rude guests I encountered. Overall, it was a great experience; I would definitely stay there again.

Easy check in, good breakfast and set up. Very poor security- outside doors often found standing open, blankets too thin, no option to run hvac fan continuously. I never understand why in a motel the sink and mirror are in where the shower and toilet are located. Much more user friendly to be separate. We never figured out the TV remote and we are not computer stupid!

The rooms were nice. The hotel was under construction, so it was loud. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi were under construction and so was the entire hotel. The staff was not friendly and they called the room to tell us that the water was going to be off all day, with only a 10 minute warning.
