The location was great for where I wanted to go. There was no problem finding a restaurant or the mall. The only thing I wasn't pleased with was the Internet Service. I checked in and was given a number to call for the Internet Service, after I turned my computer on and it wouldn't connect, I used the phone in the room to call the service. But the person on the other end said, "This room was not checked in", if I wasn't checked in why would I have my room key. Accessing the Internet wasn't friendly at all. The Internet was the main reason we chose La Quinta.

Not too far from downtown. Pool was not in working order at that time. Fitness center was weak. I would stay here again. The price is low and the drive to downtown was quick. The pool wasn't in working order while there. The fitness center left a lot to be desired. It was really weak. Good staff - very friendly. Worth the money saved as opposed to staying downtown Savannah.

Couldn't access the internet but hotel receptionist gave tech support # and it took them 10-15 mins to fix the problem. Room heater did not work but hotel receptionist solved that. Would have given them 5 (value for money) but these 2 hickups (but they did solve the problem quickly) makes me give them a 4 out of 5 stars. Otherwise breakfast was great, rooms were clean, bathroom was clean ... Good experience.

The staff at check out wasn't helpful at all. The woman at the front desk refused to give me a bill to show that I did not have any outstanding charges on the room because I paid online. She kept quoting that she could not show me how much they actually discounted the room? I just wanted proof to show that I did not make any additional charges to the room for my records.

it was a nice hotel, very clean. the beds were awesome. I love lots of pillows.

Nice contemporary furnishings. Nice flat screen TV. Nice AC controls. Non-smoking room smelt like smoke. Animals bark and meow all night! Bring a Renuzit air freshener and some spray because the non-smoking room we had smelled awful; like someone who just smoked a whole carton. Also beware that this is a pet friendly hotel, which means you will hear barking and meowing all night. This is no fun with a 10-month-old baby trying to sleep. Loud animals aren't supposed to be allowed, but a couple nights I thought we were staying in an SPCA. Somewhat convenient location, but very busy street.

We stayed here while visiting with family. We are in the military and travel quite a bit. They are pet friendly, which is huge for our two bulldogs. The staff were friendly and the rooms were nice. The rooms look like they have been newly renovated. We stayed in a king room with a desk and comfy chair and a huge flat screen TV perfect for college football. The beds were fantabulously comfortable. We will stay here again.

If you're visiting Savannah, this is a good value. But if you are traveling through the area on I-95, keep going! Directions to the hotel (2 La Quinta hotels on the same street!) don't mention that it is 10 miles off of I-95.

I have stayed at this hotel four previous times and each time it exceeds my expectations. It always provides me with a clean, comfortable room, and the staff never fails to greet me with a friendly word every morning before I leave asking me where I'm going, if I need directions and wishing me a good day. The beds are super comfortable and I slept well each night. The only problem was a power outage due to a storm which was beyond the hotel's control one night. It is close to everything and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Close to malls. Very uncomfortable beds. Hotel was much overpriced and not at all capable of being called a suite. I've had a better cheap motel stay than this.

This was my first time staying at a LaQuinta. Originally I stopped at the wrong location...there are three LaQuinta's on this street. I was awakened multiple times by other guests laughing and talking loudly in the hall. Not the hotel's fault, but maybe an indicator of the type of guest that stays there. My room looked clean, but there was a sickly sweet smell and the room didn't feel clean. I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Location. It was not clean. The carpet in the hallways was filthy. The furniture in the lobby was dirty and worn. There was blood or some other stains on the wall in the hotel room near the beds. The elevator was dirty. I won't be back.

The La Quinta Inn Southside, Savannah was a very good value.Never having been there, I didn't realize how far South it was. It was much more reasonable than the properties closer to downtown, for those who want to save money. It was a very good value for the money.

Just redone so everything was new. Also staff was friendly. Everything was good. I would recommend this hotel to others as the staff was friendly and accommodating and the room was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was better than most other hotels I have stayed in.

Overall, this was perfect for accomidating our needs. We appreciate a place that welcomes pets. It is located near many nice restaurants and is in a very safe area of town.
