Stayed only one night. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Hotel was somewhat empty. Shower is not for tall people. It has it's own ceiling and and a little small. Room was clean and large.

It had a nice big spa, and a big pool. The rooms smelled musty/moldy had to change rooms and settled on 3rd room. Very understaffed.

i've stayed there several times over the past year. the price is reasonable, it was recently renovated, and the staff actually wants to resolve problems. one time i had a room that smelled musty, and they offered a new room immediately. the only thing i can't rave about is the continental breakfast - the food is fairly mediocre.

Arrived at LaQuinta with confirmed reservation from travel website. In short, they gave our room (a jacuzzi suite) to someone else. They called all LaQuintas in Ft Meyers for similar suite but none available. Substituted regular room at juczzi suite price. Attempted to blame on travel website, which is B.S. I've used travel website many times over 20 years, and this is the first time this has ever happened to me.

Went for a girls-only week at the beach. 5 minutes from Sanibel causeway. Very close to everything we wanted to do on Sanibel without paying the big beachfront prices! Loved the breakfast every day, think I gained 5 lbs. Would 100% come back and stay here again!!!

Beds were the best of any hotel I've stayed at. Not very many choices for dining out close to this hotel. I've stayed here before when this hotel was a best western. Now that it has become a la Quinta inn the quality has even improved. Staff is very friendly and the beds are to die for. Best night sleep I've ever had at a hotel. I would stay here again and again.

The hotel was wonderful. Full ammenities. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer. Nicely decorated. A bathroom lite bulb was burned out our first night, and when informed they replaced it immediately. Location was very good. One mile to a beach access. No swimming but we found alot of sea shells, and watched the sunset. Very pleased with our 5 day stay there, would definitely return

For the price you can't beat it. Location was very close to everything. Extremely comfortable beds, more than helpful staff, courteous and friendly. Pool was delightful and so was the hot tub. Continental breakfast did run out of some items, but there was still plenty of choices left. Alot of bang for your buck. Would definitely stay again.

We arrived on Christmas Day for a family vacation with young kids only to find out that the pool was closed. Closed since 12/19/08 and no date on when it is going to open. It was a drain problem.....knowing that they had a "full house" you would think that they would have rushed what ever needed to be done. Saw no one working on the pool the entire time that we were there. We came from Cleveland, Ohio where it was 5 degrees out and wanted to swim. Half of our family left the hotel and went somewhere else, so our family vacation was not such a family vacation. It would have been nice for the hotel or travel website to contact us a head of time so we could try to find other accomendations. Hotel was clean and was in a GREAT location. Breakfast bar was a little lame...not much to choose from and had to wait in line forever to make a waffle. Bartender was GREAT!! The best part of the entire vacation!! Housekeeping was very good. I would stay at this hotel again for sure but now am going to call any hotel ahead of time for the pool.

Room was clean and functional, however, outside door needed weatherstripping badly. There was a 1 inch gap under door which let in light and who knows what else. It was also very noisey from outside Also, there was no exhaust fan in bathroom which made showering unpleasant.

Well kept grounds, quiet, and clean. It was upsetting to know that my trip would have been cheaper had I gone through A.

The hotel was a huge disappointment. They advertise all new rooms--if that was a new room it sure has had some rough wear. Cleanliness was borderline. We had to wait 1 1/2 hours past check in time. They tried to give us a room other than the one we requested, and were quite disgruntled when we asked to have it cleaned for us. The breakfast was very poor; waffles, toast, bagels and grapefruit. It was not as advertised. Fortunately we had a great time in Florida and spent very little time at the hotel.

The air conditioning unit worked randomly - either never shut off or had problems turning on. Not the best situation in 90 degree weather in Florida. The bathroom did not have a ventilation fan so it smelled mildewy and musty. The front desk clerk had an unprofessional manner, was unknowledageable about the area, and seemed upset to have to provide customer service for check in and check out. Our billing was done in error and was still not corrected a week later. I have a call in to the manager and am waiting for a response as I write this review.

We went there for the weekend to enjoy Sanibel island without the beach hotel prices. The hotel is very nice for the price I paid it was like free. They have a free breakfast every morning with make your own waffles and hard boiled eggs and muffins, cereals, milk, juice etc. The hot tub was so nice to relax and have a drink in your hand and sit back and watch the kids play in the pool right next to the Jacuzzi. The hotel is one mile to the beach and on a straight road right over the causeway. They have maps and anything you need. I ordered in for dinner and Nicole the front desk clerk was awesome. She helped me pick the best pizza place and when there were no more towels at the pool she gave them to me also. I even forgot my razor and shaving cream and they had that for me for free also. This place is very nice and I will for sure be back again. The rooms all have Microwaves and fridges and that was nice cause next door is a supermarket that we bought drinks and etc to keep cool. The hotel on every floor has vending machines, washing machines and dryers and ice machines. I saw people filling their coolers up so they can hurry off to the beach for fun. The beaches here have so many shells you will be like WOW. We saw dolphins so close to the shore that was awesome. We found sand dollars also. I hope this helps you all if you go but this place is very decent for the price you get off here.

I got clean sheets the next day. It was filthy, they never gave me my requested wake up call. I would never stay there again andI would really like the name and adress of the proper people to discuss this with.

We loved this place!! If we weren't already set on staying on the beach, we would probably stay here for our whole vacation. The price is definitely right!! Everyone was very accomadating...allowing us an early check-in and a late check-out. The continental breakfast was great!! The rooms were clean and very comfortable!! Definitely would stay here again!!

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable, the staff was pleasant and professional, and the price was great. We were also just a few minutes from Sanibel Island and the beaches which was convenient.
