Nothing. One of our rooms had a toilet that backed up after flushing. I phoned the front desk but received no answer. I then ran up to the front desk to find the desk clerk out in front of the hotel smoking a cigarette. Imagine my surprise, as I informed her of my problem, she handed me a plunger and said if you want it unclogged, you will have to do it yourself. I am the only employee on the property, and I can't leave the front desk. We further had issues with Domino's Pizza (one of this facilities preferred and recommended vendors). Our Pizzas were 1 hour and 45 minutes getting to us following my initial call. The Domino's staff was rude and hung up on me after my 4th call. The Pizzas finally arrived to our rooms cold, hard and resembling something like cardboard. I am a lawyer/business traveler and have been staying at La Quinta's for many years. Their service has always been outstanding. This visit has me completely rethinking my loyalties to La Quinta. I went to great lengths to inform desk clerk, manager and GM/owner of the problems we had. The only thing that was extended to me was a verbal apology. I am here to tell you, if I practiced law with the same degree of great indifference, I would be disbarred. Buyer beware, stay away from this one!
