The hotel stay was fine,except for the water temperature for the shower was too cold and the shower curtain had mildew stains on the bottom. Also, the walls were too thin and I could here the activities going on next door.

The hotel was great! Hotel staff was very helpful with everything. The room was super clean and everything worked great. The pool was kept clean as well which was a big surprise. Our room was very spacious also and we loved every minute there. Would def go back to the hotel for next years Spring Fling and any other return trips to Panama City

My 1 day stay was overall Good. The one elevator closest to our room was broken so we had to walk to the farthes elevator away from the room to get anywhere or take the stairs. The pool could be better if they would clean it. It had debris from the landscaping. The hot Tub was not working appropriately it wasn't hot at all and it had murky water also filled from debris from landscaping. Other than that our stay was very good the hotel and room were very clean.

My boyfriend and I came to Panama City to shop and enjoy the beach. I wasn't sure about booking at this hotel but hoped for the best. We arrived at 4pm only to be told we couldn't check in because 3 employees called out leaving them short. I asked to be called on my cell when the room was avail. I waited 2 hrs and called the hotel. The room was ready but front desk failed to call as asked. We had to call room service for new towels which they always seemed to be "in the dryer." The towels left lent all over our bodies to the point where we had to brush each other off. The elevator seemed to be on it's last leg. The fitness room required an additional key card which you had to get from the desk after you figured out that your room key wasn't the solution. I really hate Holiday Inn Select and the surrounding hotels were either higher or booked already. Even though I booked three weeks ahead. This hotel is just convenient to the mall, Smitty's B-B-Que and a straight shot to the beaches (15 mins away). Nothing special at all in this hotel.

Rented two rooms; had to call housekeeping back to our room to vacuum room and clean bathroom; son's room never made bed Saturday. Manager NEVER available. She's ALWAYS "just stepped out for a few minutes" Had to go to front desk to get toilet paper, none left when room cleaned, could not or would not fix internet problem, which was advertised as free internet access, told us to just go down to the lobby. Staff didn't seem to care.

Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, coffee was VERY HOT,however, the manager was a little shy. All in all, we were satisfied and will stay there again.

When we arrived to check in, the front desk man was on the phone with another guest who was about to call the police because of the noise. We should have left right then. They assured me that this guest was a light sleeper who had a room "near the elevators". When we entered our room, the bed was about 1/2 made, and there were dirty towels in the bathroom. For the next 20 minutes, we waited in the hallway with all our bags for them to find us a "clean room". When we entered our new room, it smelled bad and there was a very large stain on the carpet in front of the bathroom. The entire hotel seemed dirty, worn, and in general need of care. The walls are very thin, and you can definitely hear the other guests--luckily we didn't have neighbors on one side of us and the ones on the other side were fairly quiet.

Needed a motel convenient to the airport. No shuttle but only a $10 taxi to the airport. Easy to find for my host who lives an hour away. Lovely room, all the conveniences one could want.

Stayed 2 nights in town on business. Had to change rooms twice the room smelled like an ashtray, the smoke detector hung by a wire from the wall and carpet had not been vacuumed, bathtub & floor had hair. The trash receptacles at EVERY entrance to hotel were overflowing with trash sitting beside the cans. The hotel smelled, wallpaper peeling in halls, leaking windows. Staff very appologetic for condition of hotel. Previously stayed at this hotel chain in other cities & no complaints. Was very disappointed. Would have changed hotels but no rooms available.

Bed's were small. This hotel was nice for a short trip. The beds were a bit small and the staff were a little rude about providing extra towels.

this is my second time staying at this hotel and it was terrible. everything sucked, especially the service. but i really have no choice when I visit up there, because there are very few pet friendly hotels.

I absolutely enjoyed the continental breakfast. I disliked that the hotel was pet friendly, you could hear the dogs barking as we walked the hallways and thought we were being chased. I enjoyed the calm atmosphere and it totally accommodated all of my needs.

list of good things : - room is spacious and clean - close to beach and activities - close to highways - high speed internet list of bad things : - no i.d. or reservation paper required upon check in - the entire non smoking floor smelled like cigarettes - no control on dog noise in other rooms - stairs, elevator, and hallways are dirty - no security on location but the room is really nice i can say and if you can deal with the other stuff then its not a bad place.
