We were in Oklahoma City for a few days to visit family, friends and to shop. There were great shops and eateries near the motel. The stairwell was not very clean but then most people use the elevator.

I am asthmatic and they were unwilling to give me a smoke free room. I felt miserable. It was apparent that the manager has not spent time reading the responses of the visitors to her hotel. When I brought it up, she has never looked at it. When someone has a medical condition such as I do, at least try and help.

This was a last minute business travel purchase. I chose the hotel due to its locale in relation to the local office for my company. The staff was interesting to say the least. The young lady who checked me in was "different", but friendly. The staff who greeted me in the morning was very cheerful. My room was nice, but had its issues, as all rooms do. The person in the room next to me smoked, and the smell was strong. It was a non smoking floor. I could tell each evening when the person arrived as the smoke odor was quick to follow. There is always something. The smoke detector was barely hanging from the wall by what appeared to be tape. The bathroom had hair on the floor. The a/c had to be turned down to 65 to get it to "kick on" , and then never really got cold. It was a very chilly night, so I tried the fan only, it blew warm air for some reason. Not a big deal. There was an extra remote near the bedside table on the floor, with the back cover off and the batteries scattered on the floor. (??). It didnt work, but there was another on the TV, it worked fine. The PPV movie/game portion didnt work. The bed was not bad at all, lots of pillows (king bed). However, one had a blood stain, and the sheets were badly torn at the corner. (??) The breakfast was very basic, waffles being the only hot item. For this hotel rating, I am used to eggs, a meat product, biscuts and gravy, potatoes, some other hot item besides the waffles. Lots of bagles, muffins, cereals, juices, coffee, etc. I made it work. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

This stay I had ants in my room, yellow stains on all towels, and mold in the bath tub. Upon checking in, front deck clerk was overwhelmed with two check-ins at the same time. She screwed up my bill, never did changee the name on it, and could not get my membership number attached to my room.

The service was wonderful. All staff very friendly and helpful. Rooom was clean and quiet. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Location perfect, shopping all around, Penn Square Mall up the road, resturants close. Would recommend to anyone. Check in and out very fast.

Staff, good, clean room, internet access. Key card would not unlock the side door from the parking lot. Excellent except for the side door issue.

This hotel is very nice.The beds were comfortable, and I have a bad back so that's very important. They made sure I had the ammount of pillows I requested.The breakfast was especially good on the week days, they had hard boiled eggs, and kolaches.

The one thing that I had to absolutely have was a pool. I did have a pool, but it was broke and had been for awhile. I wanted to take my girlfriend and her two kids out for the weekend so everyone could relax and have fun. Believe me when I say the pool issue was major. I would demand a refund but I really don't have the time to play hassle with it.

Room not non-smoking with king bed, fridge, microwave as requested and confirmed by CheapTickets. Did not stay there, got a room at another motel. Have been trying for 5 days to get refund from CheapTickets (finally got agent [...] to get me a three day refund of the four I had paid for). The hotel desk clerk ([...]) stated it was my problem for using a third party to reserve the room. I got what they had at the time I checked in.

I don't understand why these other reviews are so terrible.I stay here frequently,and it's always top-knotch service.The Lobby and grounds are beautiful,and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable.I feel it's necessary to write this review because most people write them when they do by the off change have a negative experience..and this La Quinta deserves some praise.=)

The one thing that I had to absolutely have was a pool. I did have a pool, but it was broke and had been for awhile. I needed directions to a location the staff was more than happy to get me directions. The breakfast was a little lite, but it was free. The staff was helpful and the place was clean and in a fair location.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the microwave and fridge were nicely hidden, the bathroo was large. But when the toilet flushed, it sounded like a jet taking off, and sometimes it took more than one flush. Apparently all the toilets were like that (we could hear them at night). Also, the shower barely worked, it was really a drizzle. The desk clerk did not appear concerned when told of these things at checkout. However, I would still stay here again. We also got a discount with our Sams card, which was nice.

We have stayed here several times and always liked it before. The toilet didn't flush and we asked to be moved. They told us the hotel was full. The bathroom door latch was hanging by one screw and could not be latched.
