nice hotel, friendly staff.however the room didnt have a microwave which would have been quite useful to me.

Price, clean friendly staff, and good location. Can't say anything bad about it, I would recommend. I would recommend this hotel to friends it has been renovated since last year I feel very safe in this area.

I am a SWF and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It was an absolute nightmare. The parking lot is far from the front door and it's very dark at night walking to the front door. I was awoken the first night at 5AM, with knocking on my door by someone playing a prank. The 3rd night, I was awoken at 2AM by someone crank calling my room from another one of the hotel rooms. Honestly, the rooms were really nice, but if I felt scared of everyone else in the hotel, that didn't really matter. I would not suggest a single female staying there, I felt I had to be in the hotel by sunset and felt stuck in my hotel room the rest of the night. Not good.

We booked this hotel based on convenience to getting onto the highway for the drive to the Keys in the morning, and inclusion of breakfast in the modest price. In this respect, we got a good value for the cost. The king-sized bed was comfortable, the bathroom was newly updated and the breakfast was bountiful. Front desk personnel were cordial and competent. We didn't have opportunity to take advantage of the pool but it looked nice though a little small. The parking lot was a little cramped, especially with the large semi's taking up multiple spaces, but it was fenced in and well-lit. The outer corridors and our room were regretfully not as clean as I would have liked- bedside stand was still sticky from someone else's spill, windows were dirty. Two of the lamps had no lightbulbs in them in our room. For one night it was tolerable, but if I am there again I will probably book the Best Western next door.

Quiet, close to turnpike. Quite small if you have kids with you.

Clean, quite, have wireless in room, breakfast is better than some other hotels we stayed.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to shopping area and restaurants, location easy to find and close to Miami and not to far from the Keys. No enough parking spaces, continental breakfast not suitable for low carb dieters, not to many choices overall. In general good for the price.

I've stayed at the same hotel previously, and did not have a good experience then. I think it was because some areas were still under construction. Some of the amenities were not available at the time. However, this visit was above average. The king size room was equipped with a 42" LCD TV with basic cable, microwave, and small fridge. High speed internet access available. The front desk staff was friendly, however the housekeepers did not speak any English, but they understood what was needed. Our bed was comfortable, room was super clean, and the hotel is still pretty brand new. A complimentary breakfast is included with stay. The location was convenient to many destinations in South Florida. The only cons was the neighborhood, it's a little shady. But other than that it is a decent place for a family to stay.

Good location between Miami and the Florida Keys. The staff was friendly but firm about the room that he gave to us was the only one available. The air conditioner was broken but he fixed it. The complimentary continental breakfast had good selections.

I was initially really impressed with the hotel, considering the price. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the pool area, though small, was nice and well-maintained. The problem was that hotel staff allowed an incredibly rowdy party to continue all through the night (I know there's a degree to which this can't be helped, but this was rather excessive). The partiers seemed to be intoxicated and got into very loud yelling matches spewing all sorts of curse words at each other. They finally quieted down shortly after 4AM which sucked because I had to get up at 4:30 to catch an early morning flight. I would have excused this as a one-time occurrence, but when I checked out and mentioned the excessive noise, the staff person at the desk wasn't apologetic in the least and even commented that "this hotel never gets any rest." In short, if you don't mind having a good possibility of not getting any sleep, this is a great hotel. Otherwise, you might want to look elsewhere.

We stayed at this hotel on the way down to Key West. Its just a few miles before the entrance to the Keys and the room was supurb with 5 star quality furnishings. Very nice!

Good value. Location was far from our destination which made round-trips each day harder than prefer. Good value. Wireless internet worked in room for 4 nights, but then didn't work for nights 5 & 6 which was very frustrating.

Very nice hotel - we stayed 6 nights, it was quiet and clean. Breakfast was ok, and staff was great. We chose it because of the location and the price. We had some business in Miami and also spend few more days there driving around (incl. to all Miami beaches and the Keys). We got two ? room suite, as we were with a child, for a very good price. The only thing that needs improvement (considering the price we paid) is that the water in the swimming pool could have been warmed up a little bit. We tried few times to go in there, but it was cold. Otherwise, everything was fine.

I felt very unsafe, not only because of the surrounding neighborhood but the grounds of the hotel were very shoddy, with large groups of people hanging out. I was uncomfortable just parking my car and having to walk 75 ft to the entrance. The room phone rang at 3am, I answered and there was no one on the line, I did not sleep after that for fear that someone would break into the room. On the other hand the room had just been renovated and it was beautiful. Too bad I didn't get to enjoy it!!!

Everything. The breakfast could have had some fruit. I would stay again, everything was great, and the bed was the best.

Room smelled REALLY bad. You know those deodorizers you hang from your rear view mirror? It was like 20 of them in the room. We left the window open all night and pulled the filters on the AC. It was better by nite time. Everything was kind of dingy and public areas smelled bad too. Two pillows (on king bed) were like Styrofoam packing peanuts in a pillow case. Area kind of rough at night. Pool tiny. Breakfast fair.

The La Quinta was a nice, clean hotel. Thought the hotel was a little run down and could use some refreshing. The color on the TV in the room was off (everyone was red), the shower had little water pressure although the water was very very hot. The morning breakfast was very nice. Overall, I believe the hotel to be a good value for the money. No major complaints.

The price. Not very updated and "cold" both physically as well as decoratively. The knob was broken on the air conditioner so I could not turn it down or off! (But Florida is hot so I was ok!) There were several things that I saw that could have been better but the price was nice.

Good Breakfast Bar. Bathrooms are a bit dated. This hotel is fine, nothing special, but nothing bad. We had a request for two beds and were told they had none when we checked in. However after I sent me girlfriend to the same guy at the counter, all the sudden we got two beds. Rooms are clean and other then that one guy the staff is very nice.

"Chose as suitable point to visit Everglades and Keys. A bit concerned with location, next to very busy road but no problem once inside. Great welcome on arrival, room clean and well appointed, breakfast adequate if a little limited choice. Positioned across street from Mall and selection of well known resturants. Overall a good place to stay. Will happily use again."
