Located in a very good location for business and shopping. Room was very comfortable

The room was very clean and the everything was really good. The toliet ran on occasion. Went here for vacation and was very surprised at the layout of the room and how clean it was. One day the head maid made it a point to check the room after it was cleaned by the maid. I would go to this hotel again if I was staying in Huntsville. There are plenty of placed to eat in the area.

The TV was old and it looked like the picture tube could go at any minute. The fire alarm was messed up and kept going off all day long and especially between 3am and 4am, and I had to have lost an hour and a half of sleep over that deal. It was one of the worse stays that I have had in a hotel in a long time. By the end of the trip nobody was paying any attention to the fire alarm. That fact alone is enough to say that I would not recommend this hotel. Even though the price was right I'd call ahead about the alarm.

The people were pleasant, but the hotel was being repaired and the dust bothered my allergies.

Lady "Pat" at the front desk was very nice. Lousy management. Rooms are extremely small. Bathroom is the size of a phone booth. If you smoke, bring your own ash tray they provide none. Breakfast hours change with no notice No microwave or fridge. Limited cable channels. The place is a piece of work.

This property has good points, but is in need of cleaning and repair. The common areas look old, worn, somewhat dark, somewhat dirty. The exterior of the building has peeling paint that is obvious even late at night in the dark. Things like the carpet in the elevator were clearly very old and it's obvious they are never cleaned. Front desk staff was polite, but tried to charge me again even though my reservation was pre-paid. There were several young people hanging out in the parking lot, running around, yelling. This resulted in an atmosphere that felt slightly unsafe upon arrival. The room was better in some ways. There were upscale touches such as stylish decorations and a decent sized flat screen TV. Also, the room featured a fridge, microwave and ironing board. Still, there were hints of disrepair and the carpet wasn't completely clean. We had a fairly quiet night, though the bed was notably uncomfortable and loved by no one. Free breakfast was good if not excellent. Cereal, muffins, juice, bagels. There was also a waffle iron for making your own, though in our case there wasn't enough batter to go around. On the plus side, there are plenty of restaurants, theaters, and shopping destinations within a mile or so. The stay wasn't a horrible experience, and I consider it a decent value for the (discounted) price we paid, but if you insist on the details of a hotel being right, I would pass on this location and look elsewhere. For families or someone looking for a bargain, this might be a more reasonable choice.

This hotel has been in the same state of ill repair every time we have been there. Great staff but not a very good hotel.

Check in staff was awesome. Carpet badly stained. Overall, about what I'd expected. A great value for the $. Free wireless Internet--lovely touch. Breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular but again, a nice touch for the price. I really didn't use the pool or other amenities--I wanted a clean, safe place to sleep while I was attending a seminar. This fit the bill perfectly, and couldn't beat the price. Parking very near the room, ramps for rolling luggage, etc. Easy driving, enter and exit at a stoplight.

I reserved a non-smoking room but room smelled bad. Several other guests with me reserved smoking rooms but were given an ashtray and a non-smoking room. Water in shower was not warm or hot. Paint was falling of the ceiling. No good TV stations. Carpet was very dirty.

"This hotel surely isn't a luxury hotel, nor is it the best one in Huntsville! The location in convienient, the outdoor pool is suberb but the outside and hallways need some improvement. Also, the walls inside our room needed some washing, but the maids were quick to clean when we said something at the front desk. If you aren't looking for top notch, La Quinta will do!"

The LaQuinta was an ok place to stay after a long drive. The outside looked great, but they were remodelling while I was there. This I can understand, you must have upkeep. When I got to my room it was plesantly remodelled. In fact they must have just got done with it because the paint smell was still present. I had no trash cans in my room and when I went to the desk to request one the hostest handed me the one behind her counter. We reserved the room for 4, but only had towels for 2 people. Have you ever checked in late in the evening and tried to get extra towels. There were no suitcase stands so our cases stayed mainly on the bed or floor. Morning breakfast was average. As I stated it was an ok rest stop.

Room clean, comfortable and quiet. Room not ready for check in 2:30 pm, finally ready at 4:30 pm, inconvenient. Check in staff was not particularly friendly nor helpful, Not very concerned with fact that room was not available in mid afternoon and that it wouldn't be ready until about 4:30. When the housecleaning manager found out that I was being delayed for a meeting she did offer to let me use a room to shower and dress while my eventual room was being readied. I declined and changed my meeting plans.

"TV sucks, remote didn't work, did not have a replacement. Breakfast is so-so. Room is sparse and needs updating."

La Quinta Inn Huntsville Madison Square Mall - Huntsville, AL is a flop house in a terrible area of the city. It seems to cater to an indigent clientele. The elevator was full of unsupervised children It is filthy and one employee mentioned that the hotel had been robbed 3 times when I mentioned it didn't appear to be safe

Location; friendly staff; knowledgeable staff. Needs a fresher / cleaner smell. The location is near anything in Huntsville. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The wireless worked very well from my room (rooms. The air conditioner was not very loud and worked fine.

This hotel was remodeling. The internet wasn't working, the pool was emptied, there was furniture everywhere, and they had no milk for the cereal at the breakfast. I checked out as soon as I could get another room. I was planning to stay for two weeks.

Quiet, friendly staff, great location for all of Huntsville. Needs a fresher clean smell. N/A

The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. The elevator was trashed. Rails missing etc. Everything was nice except the elevator. Light fixtures missing along with the rails and there was an unpleasant smell inside.
