Staff is helpful and courteous, the room was clean and tidy, and all the utilities worked (not to be taken for granted in that area. High-speed internet worked very well. Great spot for business travelers - I'll be back!

It was very pleasant atmosphere. It was great. My children loved. It was very clean and everyone was very nice. Great atmosphere for families.

When we arrived in late evening, the front desk staff told us we were listed as "no show" even though we made a reservation with credit card. Luckily they still had a room(only smoking). When we got to our room there were cigarette butts and other garbarge under beds. Went to the pool, there was garbage(cups, branches, pop can, and bandaids next to the pool). No towels at pool (had to ask front desk for them). Hot tubs jets didn't work either. Bathroom next to pool area was dirty, wall paper cut on walls cleaning supplies scattered on floor under sink and toilet paper scattered on floor. When we complained all we were told was sorry! The breakfast was very good and great location. Beds were very comfortable also. This would be a great hotel if it were cleaned up. Take a little pride in your service!

Their staff is rude and the cleaning lady will lie.

Staff, gym. Nothing. Over all it was a good experience for all of us and the staff were great.

close to Lagoon; close to several chain restaurants; nice staff, large room - 2 queens with a sofa-bed; nice continental breakfast; great value for the dollar

Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Staff called to ask if everything was okay with the room. Comfortable beds and friendly staff.

Hotel was not very clean or accomodating. The continental breakfast was a mess and people were eating pizza in the lobby when we checked in so it was dirty and smelled bad.

This was a desent hotel, but I am not sure if I will stay there again. for the price it was ok outside of that there is not much more to say.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Didn't have a refrigerator.

La Quinta in Layton has a very convenient location just off the freeway and next door to a wonderful BBQ restaurant and several other restaurants within walking distance. In spite of its proximity to the freeway my room was really quiet. The beds and pillows were really comfortable and the linens were clean and plentiful. The breakfast was a big plus since I wanted to be in Farmington by 7:30 AM. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Location, access to pool. This hotel is so close to I-15 that passing trucks throw rocks at the windows. It was being renovated and my room type was unavailable, the pool was unavailable, and the whole place reeked of carpet glue and new paint. After the renovations are done, it will be a clean hotel.

From the minute I got there I was helped out and got to my room as fast as if I was at a big fancy hotel.. the lady at the desk was very nice! My stay was wonderful.. the room was bigger than I expected for what I paid for the room...everything was clean and the room was in great condition! I would have lived there if I could!

Our room had been smoked in and the desk girl was very willing to change us to another room. Old, needed painting, carpet in halls wrinkled, walls all marked and dirty. It is okay for one night stay.

Every thing at the hotel was very good, except for the continental breakfast -- It could stand for an upgrading, very limited selections

The guard left the pool open late. Breakfast was all gone before 7am and it ended at 9am. The breakfast staff was extremely rude and wouldn't work with anyone. they ran out of food before breakfast was over and my husband wanted a juice and it was 10 minutes before 9am when it ended and the lady shut the machine off and told him to bad and walked off.

It was clean. Could have had a better selection of items to eat for breakfast. In general it was great. Would stay there again for sure.

Good location from our destination. The hotel staff and room was terrible. They treated us very poorly! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! The room that they placed us in had many problems and when we attempt to speak to the staff they treated us like we were a bother.

Close to interstate. Old interior smelled. Didn't have clean towels at the pool. Lobby staff was never around. The only elevator in the hotel broke down. The only thing that I would recommend about this hotel is it's proximity to 'Famous Daves' (can walk home after having too much Utah beer) and interstate.
