My husband and I spent 5 nights at the hotel and, while it was not a beautiful property, it was clean, quiet and friendly. The location is literally right off the highway but the rooms are very quiet. The staff was great. Our room was spotless and we had everything we needed including a microwave and refrigerator. I certainly recommend this property

The staff at the Inn very friendly. Staff at suites horrible. Unable to use stairs closet to room. Fumes from carpet glue almost toxic. There are 2 Inns/suites with same name next to each other. I was booked at the Inn which was under renovation during my stay. Had I known before arriving, I would not of stayed there. Had to climb over rolls of carpet and padding to get to my room. Fumes from the glue were over whelming and gave me a very bad migraine. Staff very friendly and even tried to re book me to the other, very expensive Suites next door. Since hotel was prepaid they could not transfer payment or reservation. The staff at suites very rude, including the manager, so I returned to the Inn. Took photos with my cell if interested. My lesson learned here, call ahead to make sure you know about any surprises.

Called Dec 31st, 2008 for that night for 1 night. The suites part is the first building with room entrances inside hotel. The regular rooms are the other 2 buildings(after restaurant) with office and main part seperate from rooms. Have to go outside to go to breakfast or office. Positve is nice breakfast, good variety, clean spacious rooms, nice soft pillows and bed. Small bathroom, big shower. Fridge and Microwave in room. Great for money.

Attempted to check in two hours after the scheduled time, and the room was not ready yet. I was told that it would be 'awhile' until it was ready. The room was sizeable with a poor layout and smoke stains on the white ceiling. The La Quinta two doors east was a few more dollars per night and appeared from the outside to be much better and had an indoor pool.

Doesn't apply. Due to no fault of mine the plane was delayed in Dallas 6 hours making my arrival to Milwaukee 1am with a drive time of 2 hours to get to hotel, the next day was a safer way to drive. Refusal to change and charge me for a night anyway claiming a days notice prior was needed when it would be impossible to do made me see not to do this ever again. I'll just find a place when I get there.

My room was about 200 feet from the main highway and I didn't realize it until the next morning when I opened my blinds. That is how quiet the room was!! I booked a king bed and was suprised at the amount of space that I still had to move around in the main part of the room. The only disappointing thing about the room was the size of the bathroom. The sink area was part of the room and the toilet and shower were in a small area. It was so small I had difficulty closing the bathroom door while standing in the bathroom. I did have some difficulty trying to find the main entrance to the hotel. Granted I arrived after dark, but the directions that I got from Yahoo weren't much help, but that can't be blamed on the hotel.

Great location near airport, shopping, and walking distance to various restaurants. Older hotel in need of remodeling. Tiny bathrooms with a shower - no tub. They were replacing carpetting, so hallways were obstructed and construction mess throughout. Grounds were in need of landscaping. Don't be confused with the newer LaQuinta Inn and Suites that was 2 doors down.

Within walking distance of several restaurants. Easily hear neighbors in rooms next door.

The rooms are clean, not completely up to date, but there are the amenities you need. The beds are comfortable, it smells good, continental breakfast is excellent. Staff is friendly. It is my favorite low budget hotel in appleton.

Short business trip. Frustrating that the door key did not open the door very well. Outdated key and technology, but otherwise it was a good value for the money and good location.

The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in an excellent location, very close to shopping and the Airport. The rooms were clean and well set up, but the bedding and furniture were a little worn.

Checked into the hotel at 1pm was given a key and told that the room was not cleaned yet. We seen a housekeeper and just asked if the room was going to be cleaned because we were going to be back in a couple hours. One said she was leaving in 30 minutes and the other one started crying. We left the hotel and called 2 hours later just to be sure that the room was cleaned. I talked to someone at the desk to see if the room had been cleaned. She was rude and disrespectful. When I said that we would never stay there she said "that's your prerogitive". Obviously this person does not know the first thing about customer service.

The staff was not very friendly. Very confusing to find. They are better options in the area.

It was clean and not far from downtown! The shower was way too small. Overall I was very impressed with the hotel. Front desk person was friendly and accommodating. The room was veryclean and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

Hotel staff was friendly. Hotel was run down.

This is my first and last stay at a La Quinta Inn. The water in the toilet would constantly run. When we asked the front desk to fix the problem, they came into the room twice and solved the problem. ( For only 2 hours.) I was disappointed as to how easily I could hear people outside my room. The tractor trailer trucks moving north on 41 are very loud and found the room did not shut out that noise either to my satisfaction. On the up side, they do offer a nice complimentary breakfast with fruit and a waffle maker. I had such a hard time fallign asleep between the noise of the toilet and the trucks, and the neighbors walking up and down the hallway, closing doors, etc. I would never stay here again.
