Date of Stay: May, 2009

Beds were comfortable Smoking room we were placed in and could not change The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only problem I had was that the room they placed me in was a smoking room, I asked to be changed to a non-smoking room and was told by the front desk staff member that "because I booked on line with a price reducer site, I got the room left-over after other customers had been placed." I was very upset by that statement and I had to sleep with the window open because of the smoke smell.

We spent a comfortabe night with no external noises to disturb our sleep. The continental breakfast was good. There are also several good quality eateries close by.

We went up with the kids to play in the snow for a couple of days - it was a last minute thing - and we were looking for a 4 to 5 star establishment for our comfort. The Radison would have been our first choice, but it was already booked. We found this La Quinta online and booked it to insure a place to stay. I wasn't expecting a whole lot based on the general rates and coupled with the fact they were running a special discount; my expectations were fairly low. The hotel was within a mile of the end of the 17. This made it very easy to get to and when there is traffic in Flagstaff, the easier the better. Check in went fast and the desk staff was plesant enough to deal with. Though they only had a smoking room, and I though I would have to fight for another room as they were now sold out as well, the room smelt fresh. My wife said, "OK," and we brough in our bags. The room was clean, well made and stocked with the essentials. We had two kids with us and the room - though not overly large - accomodated us well. With the morning came the promise of a free continental breakfast. Turned out to be quite convenient. I could take the kids down while the wife got ready (insert joke here) and that turned into quite a time saver. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was enough and saved the time and expense of going out to eat. Maybe some scrambled eggs are in order, but...maybe they can work on that. With no problem at check out, I returned home with the expectation of staying there again.

Convenience, breakfast and staff. Could have been little cleaning. Typical La Quinta. Could use some updating. Breakfast and breakfast area were nice. However, I willnever book through Priceline again. Price was the same on the La Quinta website.

The complimentary continental breakfast is a nice plus, along with free internet. The bathtub is on the old side and didn't look too clean.

Very pet friendly and the staff was professional and cheerful. The pool was not open for the season and the breakfast could have been better. A great place to stay, especially if you are traveling with pets. It was also conveniently located. I would stay here again.

Clean, roomy and the bed sheets, blanket were of great quality not scratchy. The free breakfast selection was very poor. Hotel was perfect for my Husband and I and our two kids. The room was clean and very roomy. The blanket and sheets were very soft and not scratchy like most hotels.

Clean. Lousy breakfast buffet. Noisy rooms. If you are looking for overpriced moderate comfort room, look no farther. Breakfast buffet is a joke, poorly stocked and laid out.

Easy to find and close to the main road. The fact I got there at 6 p.m. and my room was not ready. The hotel was a nice hotel I would possibly stay there again. The only issue I had is the fact that I came at 6 p.m. and was unable to check into my room, they said they had no rooms clean and I was not able to check in till 8 p.m. Other than that it was a nice hotel for the price.

Location to I-17. Large dogs were permitted in rooms. Property needs refurbishing. The property served it's purpose as we needed to get out of the snow storm. The next morning's drive to the airport was just four miles. I-17 was one block away. The location to major shopping and fine dining was perfect.

Service - from Check in to trouble-shooting. Elevators and lobbies had smoking smells. The stay was comfortable for the price and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Smoking and non-smoking rooms need to be segregated into separate buildings if possible. Staff is courteous and prompt in responding to problems.
