LaQuinta said they upgraded the rooms - it's still dirty and old. Had ants in my room. The iron didn't work. The air conditioner was loud and blew alot of very warm air into the room. The most convenient entrance door to my room had a broken security system. The ceiling tiles in the hallways were stained and falling down. I am a business traveler and only require a clean bed and bathroom, and safety. The bathroom was dirty and very small. Would definitely not stay here again.

Good location. A lot of tour groups generating noise, etc. Nice clean facility well located with adjacent restaurants. Desk clerk was a trainee trying to do her best but she was alone and I waited over 10 minutes in line for registration. Second day I had no hot water for shower. A lot of tour groups because of it's proximity to NYC. This created noise and difficulty with overwhelming resources.

Hotel was very clean but some of the rooms do smell a bit since it is a pet friendly hotel. That's one reason I won't own a dog.... that smell lingers. Pool was being renovated during our stay and that was a disappointment but it happens. Some of the guest that occupied half a dozen rooms lingered in the hallway way past midnight drinking and walking around kept us awake. But the management handle it swiftly by calling the police and putting us on another floor. It wasn't the hotels fault but they handled it well.

This is an older hotel. The rates are great compared to others in the area but the room smelled mildewy and the bathroom floor was sticky and slimy.

Convenient, clean, great price. Great, basic hotel. Rooms recently updated and clean.

I am a native of the area and return back in forth for business. When competitively priced I prefer to stay here. I recently took a trip with my family and stayed here and couldn't ask for more. Clean rooms, excellent location within the NYC metro area, plenty of dining and shopping options. Only complaint last visit; the wireless internet was not available for 2 days and no one had an explanation that made sense. If you check other hotels on 46 within 3 mi range they are mostly more expensive and either equal or inferior in appearance and ammenties making this the best option. I should also mention this hotel had a major renovation when it switched to Laquinta brand.

Efficient, clean, perfect for a business overnight stay, convenient. Breakfast was barely okay.

Was poorly managed. The room conditions were poor. Free internet, but I could not get the signal in my room. I have to stay in lobby to have internet access.

Close to restaurants. Ants in bathroom. Ok for the money, no frills andrear parking lot dark.

Friendly staff and very clean. The workout room could use more equipment. This is a great hotel. The rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the breakfast has some decent choices.

Spacious room andgreat parking. Smell on hallway, few elevators and too far apart. For the price, it was a great hotel. Restaurant and shopping malls just across the street. Too bad there was only one person at the front desk. I had to wait a lot to be able to talk to her.

Pleasant ambiance. Entrance sign behind tree so missed turn. Not a good thing to do in NJ.

Near freeways, free breakfast, near shopping malls. Laundry facilities. None.

The bed and pillows where very comfortable. Breakfast area was too crowded due to tour buses. This hotel was convenient to find. It was also in a good location for us to be able to find the different places me needed to go. Also there was a shopping mall close by. Would recommend.

Location. Musty & damp. Only one hanger in room. Required copy of drivers license. Location was good. Two restaurants within walking distance. However, room & hotel were humid/musty. Only had one hanger in room. When asked for more, was told they were out. They did end up finding me three hangers from another vacant room.

Lobby was clean, as well as eating area. Front desk was very friendly. No shampoo, only one bar of soap, and no pick up or change of towels. Except for making my bed, room service was none existent. I will not be staying there again.

Convenient location, friendly staff, acceptable rooms. No business center. Hotel is nice, price is right, would stay there again.

The way the girl at the office tried to satisfy us after the terrible night we got there. Groups of young people were making so much noise I couldn't sleep! The walls are too thin. We hear everything.
Date of Stay:
May, 2008
I liked that it had a refrigerator, the bed was large and comfortable. The woman at the front desk was cold and unwilling to help me when I called to ask for help getting there.
