When we checked in about 9pm , the clerk was very nice and friendly,but the rooms were dissapointing. We ended up changing rooms 3 times. Once because the room was not clean and smelled of smoke although it was a non-smoking room. The other 2 times were because the doors did not close properly. By the time w egot settled in for the night it was almost 11pm.

It was not located in a residential district. This hotel was a perfect fit for the business traveler looking for an inexpensive overnight.

Be aware that this motel is located far away from most services. I would not recommend the local delivered pizza. Regular bus service to White Plains is only a block away, across a couple of corporate parking parking lots; a feature that the desk was unaware of, but the help knew. I had a large, clean room. The adjacent closed restaurant leant a unfortunate feeling of abandonment.

It was a good experience. I rented 2 movies , had the complimentary breakfast (both mornings) and used both the pool and fitness center. I was very happy to finally find a hotel that would take pets,I brought my 2 birds and no one complained.

You should be aware that the hotel is under construction. We were shocked when we arrived, but their was not a problem with noise or dust.

i booked a king size bed on orbitz and when i checked in with my wife they gave us a double bed. i was unhappy with this because i wanted what i purchased. the front desk attendant wanted to give us the king room for $10 more. he orginally said there were no more king beds and that our reservation was for double. i explained to him that is not the case. I took the double beds because we were tired from our 12 hour drive from north carolina and i just could not bother. Also the bathroom needs better cleaning and they should throw out the shampoo if someone already used some.donot leave it for the next guest because some is in it

Customer service, cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. Noise. Couldn't sleep. Overall the hotel was lovely. Beautiful spacious, clean rooms. Breakfast was quite good, and the pool very well maintained and enjoyable. Hallway doors need a buffer on them so they close slowly and do not slam shut. Noise level of guests should not have been tolerated after 11 pm. We couldn't sleep most of the night. Got up feeling awful.

Where to begin? Pot party on the third floor made a guest move his grandchildren to another room. Construction was ongoing; I would not have reserved at this hotel had I known). No extra blankets and the blanket provided was equivalent to a flannel sheet. During rainstorm thee was a massive flood in the bathroom, and this was a first floor room in a four story hotel. There is more.

My wife and I went away for the weekend for a little R&R. We wanted to stay in Westchester and close to the Blue Hill Restaurant at Stone Barns. This hotel was an excellent choice due to its cheap and clean rooms with all the modern amenities. One negative would be the fitness center, if you can call it that. A few dirty and old treadmills and stationary bike..no machines or free weights, so you can only do cardio (if you dare to run on a narrow treadmill). The breakfast was nothing special - the usual continental fare w. waffles, toast, jam and cereal - come early (before 8am) or else you may have to wait to get a seat. For the price we paid ($75 per night), it was definitely worth it and would most likely stay there again.

Breakfast included in price. Lay out is a little weird, parking in therestaurant near an office park. Older property under renovation. My room was OK, linens were soft, pillows were fine, desk was just a table but internet was free and worked well.

the hotel is very close to the expressways, lots of restaurant choices close by too. staff were friendly and there was plenty of parking.

Cleanliness. The gym was sub par and very lacking. The hotel was very nice. The gym was the only area lacking, consisting only of 2 treadmills, a stepper and a bike.

La Quinta Elmsford is an oasis in the metropolitan sprawl of New York City. We were delighted with the room's fresh fragrance and cleanliness. The king-size bed was second only to our own at home. Add to the basics of hotel hospitality a wonderful aesthetic in the decor of its rooms and you have La Quinta Elmsford. All of the appointments in the room worked well, from the ordinary (bathroom amenities) to the sublime (computer/internet hook up in the desk).
