Clean room. The room did not have good sound insulation. Decent hotel, but the room was not well insulated for sound. I noticed a fairly large gap on the underside of the door. The ice machine in the hall was noticeably noisy, and I was woken by noises in the hall.

we recently stayed at the La Quinta Suites in Coeur d'alene, Idaho on Sherman from august 6-10, 2007. There were a few issues we had with this hotel. First of all, our room wasn't cleaned every night while we were staying there. The beds weren't made and the floor wasn't vacuumed.The sheets on the bed didn't seem to fit properly as they kept falling off.Also the carpets need to be steam cleaned. we couldn't let our children walk on the carpets bare footed and when they did wear socks they were black from the dirt on the floor.Also the bathtub had dirt stains on it and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. Also the garbage outside the hotel was overflowing as nobody had emptied the outside cans. also the lady in charge of the continental breakfast was nosy and interrupted people while they trying to cook their food, telling them how she thought the settings should be on the toaster and waffle iron. also, the chlorine seemed unusually high in the pool as after about 1/2 hour our eyes were burning and this has never happened at a public pool before. finally, when we checked out, nobody asked how our stay was or went over room charges and I believe this was the site manager. I guess as long as La Quinta gets their money, then that's all that counts

Overall was good, the room seemed smallas well as the bathroom; Pool was good. First day we check-in there were no shampo and bathsoap in our room. but we call and they taken care of right away. The tower for the pool were not well stock. Well for a short stay it was o'k. The breakfast were good and plenty of choices.

24 hour pool, close to resort without being in high traffic areas. It was comfortable and we got a great price.

A clean, comfortable hotel in a lovely setting. The staff is helpful, even eager to assist. The workout facilities, pool, sauna, and laundry are very clean and well maintained. The rooms were neat and contained all the necessities. One exception was the wireless internet service, which was inaccessable from our room at the far reaches of the hotel. Stepping into the hallway helped, but the signal was simply not strong enough to support connectivity.

The 'East' location is more off I-90, which is great for limiting the noise. Not quite sure about the quality of the neighborhood after dark. The people were great. Check in was very easy. We called about 6 pm from a friends house asking if we could go out to dinner before checking in to the hotel. The front desk said Not a problem. Just check in sometime today. Our stay was for one night, May 23-24 (Fri-Sat). Coeur D'Alene was experiencing flooding from snow melt, like most of the Northwest States were. The room had, at one time, been smoking. We could tell. The kitchen was small, two chairs, dishwasher, sink, microwave & four sets dishes, glasses & silverware (kind of funny). Anyway, the bath facilities were clean, not particularly comfortable, but clean. Java on Sherman serves a great Americano! Don't put anything in it but ice. Yummy coffee beans.

Location. Wreaked of chlorine no matter which floor you were on. Minimal rooms and service. Hotel stunk of chlorine from the pool just off the lobby and sheets stank of Clorox. It actually was hard to sleep the smell was so intense. When we got there, my reservation was in the right Name but had the wrong address (off by about 36 states) and the wrong credit card #. When I insisted it be fixed before I signed something that wasn't my credit card number, the girl was clueless.

This location on Sherman St La Quinta in Coeur D'Alene Idaho was awesome. I would highly recommend .It was very clean awesome pool and hot tub and the location was out of this world quiet and so relaxing.Continental breakfast was above average and was stocked well and if something was running low there was always someone manning the bar and getting whatever you needed.Great hospitality.The rooms were large and very comfy.

Nice amenities, all 24 hour. free breakfast. There was popcorn, rubber chicken and other stuff under the bed. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay, and I would stay there again.

Courteous staff, nice room with very comfotable bed. Great location right off I-90 and only a few minutes from the city center. Continental breakfast was quite spartan, though and could use more quantity and selection.

Free high speed Internet. Noisy bathroom fan, hotel said they would fix and gave us $5 off our next stay. Always a pleasant experience. Just the right mix, affordable and comfort. Staff goes out of its way to help.

The swimming pool was ok, and the hot tub was perfect. The parking lot has good security. It was all vary friendly. None that I didn't like. Everything thing there was perfect. LaQuinta hotel right off of interstate 94,at exit 15.easy off easy on. Overall, its LaQuinta Friendly. I recommend this hotel to everyone. LaQuinta is well worth the price per night. This is the hotel I will stay the next time I come back.

Pleasant, fairly clean and somewhat quiet. I loved the location. The room looked like it had had a lot of wear and tear. I think they need to be a bit more meticulous on the up keep of the room. The hotel was bright, cheerful..Employees helpful and pleasant. This facility needs to upgrade their fitness facility which was in very poor shape and boviously not a priority. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay. As mentioned before, I love the location.

good location near freeway took half an hour to check in. A very basic-looking hotel. Dark narrow hallways. Front desk employee didn't know what she was doing. Hard beds. But for just one night, it was acceptable, especially for a good price.
