Great location. Parking is costly at $36.00 per day. Best to leave the car outside the city and move about on public transportation.

Japanese motif. Need more breakfast options. Great facility in a great location. Our room had beautiful large shower but for younger kids, a bathtub would have been helpful.

The rooms are nice and clean. The location is walking distance to stores and places to eat. It costs about $7 to $8 dollars to take a cab to Navy Pier. It is about 30 to 40 mins. from Ohara International Airport. The only cons experienced were the long elevator waits and the policy of no late checkouts (at least thats what we were told by staff).

The decor. The toilet exploded. I knew where the water cut off was although I really damaged my business outfit. The help, were very good. This was a newly opened hotel, phones not working. No wake-up call unless you went to the lobby. The young staff was doing their best profession. It will get better As a single woman traveling on business. I do not like parking in a public parking garage, not attached to the hotel.

Service was excellent. We arrive in town early via the train and we were able to check our luggage and enjoy the day even though we couldn't check in yet. We were also able to check our luggage after checking out at noon and come back later in the day to pickup our luggage before heading back to the train. Breakfast was good however it was very busy and hard to find seating sometimes. Elevators always seemed slow.

Great location. The parking was terrible, $36 a day. The hotel is great, but since it is located downtown and 2 blocks from the Sears Tower parking is an issue. There is a parking garage next door but the rate is $36 a day as of 6/15/09 The only thing the hotel gets you is all the enter/exit access from the parking garage you want.

We got in late and the bell desk helped us to park right outside the hotel at a location we would never of known about. In between to parking signs there we room for two cars. He said you can park there because it is a spot they can't ticket. It happened to be open so he pointed it out. We then returned our car in the morning and did not pay to park. The breakfast in the morning was great. Lots to eat and a huge area. Very busy but it should be as it is complimentary with stay The bell man at the front on our last day was so helpful giving us directions to the subway to return to the airport. Also, suggested a time to leave so we would not have to rush. Everyone on staff we curteous and helpful. Our room was next to the elevator but we just put the fan on in the room and never heard a peep. As I was checking in at midnight the night security came down to inform the desk clerk of a hotel rooms first noise complaint warning. Which made me feel at ease that they do something about noise issues. He made sure we were not near that room. Great stay. Would stay there again.

Very clean, comfortable, nice decor, friendly staff. I had a great stay at the LaQuinta in Chicago. The location was very good for what we needed. The staff were outstanding, very friendly and professional and very willing to assist. They took the time to print out maps to the places we wanted to go. The complimentary breakfast was well done in a nice lounge and variety of foods. The hotel has a pool, exercise room and computer room. The hotel seems to be in a busy area with lots of people moving about and an office building across the street however the rooms seem sound proof and we were not at all disturbed by this. The rooms are very modern with a nice design.

We booked this room because we needed to overnight in Chicago during a longer train trip. The hotel is located about 1/2 mile from Union Station, near the Sears tower. We checked in and were astounded at the quality of the hotel and the gorgeous room. We will certainly be booking here again.

Accommodating. Friendly. Clean. Affordable. Good location. Initially, put us into a small room with only one double bed. Quickly fixed it though.

Went down for the Puertorican fest, location was great. Never been in a hotel where the rooms look exactly like the pictures, very modern, clean, nice staff-not fake. Pools small i think only 20 ppl can go in at once..but I went at night and there were only 4 of us...it was very nice.

I enjoyed the layout of the room, how spacious it was. I did not like that it took over an hour to bring linnens.. I overall really enjoyed our stay. A few downs to this hotel is that our keys kept deactivating, and it took the hospitality manager over an hour to bring us linnens for the other bed which wasnt already made.... that was about it.

Great breakfast. Did not like sleeping with spouse in a double bed; and did not like paying $38 for parking. The hotel was very nice; clean, modern looking. The breakfast was great and nice setup. We stayed in a single which turned out to have a double bed - a little cozier than we are used to but okay for one night.

Friendly staff! Very good breakfast in the morning! Great location! Vending machines were not working! No room service. I really liked this hotel very much! The room was a nice decent size, the pillows were really comfortable, the bathroom showers were fantastic and the location was great! We walked everywhere! The only thing was that there was no room service and the vending machines were broken at night. So we had to walk to get some drinks and snacks! But there is a Walgreens Pharmacy right on the corner so it wasn't a far walk! The best thing was the staff and the service! They were so friendly and helpful in every way! I would stay there again just for the service of this staff at this hotel!

Very clean. Noisy guests on the weekend. It's a brand-new hotel right in the heart of downtown Chicago, easy walking distance to shopping, museums, entertainment, restaurants. The rooms are efficient (which means small) but comfortable, including a refrigerator and microwave.

The hotel was located close to many downtown activities.
