It was OK, but if you're going to Daytona for Spring break, I wouldn't suggest it.

The maid service was very good. I thought I felt a bug in the bed. For the price and including pets.

Hotel is a small 3 story hotel. Mgmt, feel's the constant need to check up on it's guest's. I don't enjoy being watched from the pool deck to my balcony- Mgmt-is overall unfriendly. Would not put my family thru this experience again. Checked out after only 1 night. Far better hotels on the beach to stay in

We visit Daytona Beach every year and this was our first stay at LaQuinta. It's right on the beach and in the middle of shopping and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable, with down pillows and a down comforter. House keeping is great and our room was spotless each day when we returned from the beach! We had an over abundance of towels each day, too! The continental breakfast had a great variety of foods and good coffee (although I would suggest getting there early, as it goes pretty quickly). There is on site laundry, which we used a few times. Vending and ice are on each floor. There is a nice pool with a lovely patio area to sit at night and listen to the ocean. Parking is at a minimum; that was probably our only complaint. We can't wait to go back next year and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe, comfortable stay.

The La Quinta was recently remodeled and was very impressive. I have stayed at other properties in the past and this one was by far the best. it was located on the beach and the rooms were very clean and updated. A great value!

The room was very spacious and clean, plenty of room for all of us. Carpet in the room was clean, but not very nice. Ugly grey and worn out. Fantastic room and very nice people working there.

This hotel was conveniently located and having a refrigerator and microwave was very helpful. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate the hotel an 8. It was a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend it highly.

The room was beautiful and the front desk let us check in early(on spring break). The room was cleaned every day....fresh towels, more shampoo, made the beds, and even changed our sheets. The staff is really friendly. The only thing they don't do is sweep. The pool was great. My children are 4 and 8 months old and the walk in entry is amazing. Location is great near shopping and attractions. Best hotel stay we ever had. Thanks La Quinta we will be back next year.

After not seeing my boyfriend for over 2 months, this was a great getaway for us. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room and bathroom was gorgeous with all new furniture and appliances including a large mini-fridge. The room looked as if it had not been even used before we were in it and I loved it! The pool was nice as was the jacuzzi. Even during the week of spring break the hotel was quiet and almost only consisted of families which was nice. I was pleased with the staff as they were prompt in any request we had. I was extremely pleased with the room and would definitely stay there again.

My mom and I were in Daytona for ten days. We did a few 'tourist' things and then spent the better part of five days at Daytona International Speedway. We had a mini-suite on the first floor with two queen beds, two t.v.'s, a separate sitting area and a kitchenette which consisted of a microwave, small fridge and sink. The housekeeping was barely adequate as the shower was not cleaned during our entire stay and tips of 3 to 5 were left daily for the housekeeper. The room and bathroom were ceramic tile with carpet under the beds only. Understandable considering the amount of sand that a person can track in from the beach which was just past the pool. The ceramic floor was not mopped daily, though, and we had to ask for extra towels a couple of times. The parking lot was very small but adequate. The workout room was pathetic. The equipment was really old and in dire need of being replaced. I used the treadmill as it was the only one that really worked and even it would slow down and then speed up on it's own. I had to call twice to complain about the person in the room next to us watching t.v. with the sound blasting. It woke me up at 2:30 and 12:30 in the morning on two occasions. The staff did take care of this immediately which was nice. Speaking of staff...when we arrived, there was a nice young lady at the desk. She was there most of the weekend and then on Tuesday. I didn't see her again after that. The rest of the staff were of Middle Eastern descent and not overly friendly or helpful. The mattresses in our room were Simmons Beauty Rest which was very, very nice.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Staff was professional and courteous. Rooms were large and clean. Aside from the "resorts", this was one of the nicer hotels in this area of Daytona Beach. The pool was a big hit with our children and the patio area was extremely well maintained. Beach access was also a plus. I would highly recommend this hotel to families. If/when we return to Daytona Beach, we will definitely stay here again.

Outside entrances; gloomy, dank, dirty rooms; noted as non-smoking room, but had burn holes in carpet; lackluster service (most of the staff could care less); wireless internet never worked; no fitness room; jacuzzie was out of order; 3 day old donuts for breakfast. Only way to improve this property is to tear it down and start over. This is a black eye for the LaQuinta name. Do not stay here.

We stayed at the La Quinta Inn because we needed a pet friendly hotel since we have small dog. We went Labor Day weekend '07. Everything was great! We had a 2nd floor beachfront room overlooking the pool. The service and the upkeep here is excellent. Seeing how it's Daytona, we didn't expect it to be this nice and with such friendly atmosphere. The housekeeping staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The only problem with this stretch of Daytona is they have their share of "riff raff" such as homeless people walking the strip on N.Atlantic as well as "hookers" hee! hee! But not as bad as one would think. I really believe Daytona has gotten a bad rap because of this. Parking can be limited at the La Quinta on peak nights but they do have a overflow parking lot across the street which fortunately we didn't have to use.

This hotel was right on the beach and very clean and nice. The rooms are not huge and fancy but they are clean and well kept up. For the price it was a great hotel in a great location. I would difinantly stay here again when traveling to Daytona Beach.

Staff friendly and helpful, willing to let us check out a little later and use facilities. Rooms were very nice, though the beds were a little small. Very clean, well kept. Only negative was housekeeping staff a little rude and construction from next doors hotel was noisy very early in the day. I would recommend, especially if you can get a good pricing deal.
