The managers were in my opinion worthless i had issues with my reservation so i talked to the gm ken martin who ever gave this guy a job should be out of one. I ended up staying at embassy suite so much nicer and the people who worked there actually knew what they were doing.

The hotel had a great location and friendly front desk staff! My only complaint is that the cleaning crew threw away my ziplock airline bag and my clear phone case!

The hotel was beautiful in a great location. Much nicer then expected. I was excited that such a nice hotel was so welcoming to pets with no restrictions. Very clean.

The calk around the tub looked nasty. They didn't give me my wake up call as requested so I was running 20 minutes late to the airport. The staff was friendly enough but I probably wouldn't stay again.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room very nice. Bed VERY comfortable. Good breakfast. Location great. Very easy access to RBC Center without need to get on beltline and lots of eating and shopping choices. Parking very near most rooms.

We have stayed at this hotel before, and had good experiences both times. They have a continental breakfast every morning, the coffee was gross but everything else was fine. The location is great, its right next to the mall and right off Glenwood so it was easy to get places. The staff were friendly, and while they didn't always know the answers we were looking for they tried to help us out (we asked two different people how to get to a beach, and where to go for ice cream, neither really knew but both looked it up for us). The rooms are pretty big and everything was clean. We asked to switch to a room with a king bed since it didn't seem like there were many other guests and we were a couple in a room with 2 double beds, they couldn't do it because we had booked on the internet which was kind of a bummer but the staff were very nice about it. Internet booking did get us a super quick and easy check-in and check-out though.

I have stayed at many Hickory locations, and this hotel is hands down the best one. The rooms are well-appointed and tasteful, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is superior to most. Its not the cheapest, but in my opinion it is worth the extra money.

When I arraived at the hotel I was informed that pets may only stay in smoking rooms only. I had to find another hotel that would allow pets in non smoking rooms. No help was given to assist me in doing so. Manager was very unhelpfull and not willing to help.

Travelling for a two nights business stay in Raleigh this place was a really good choice. 15 min. from the airpost and downtown. As my baggage got lost on the journey the hotel staff cared about intermediate toilet articles and communication about the package delivery. The room is nicly furnitered, spacious. Internet connection is only wired available on the room (problem with my MacBook Air).

It was adequate for our needs for this trip. I've stayed at LaQuinta hotels before; this was not one of the better ones. People just didn't seem to care.

We were just there for a quick over night stay. We were looking for something cheap and convenient but the La Quinta was a nice little suprise. Rooms were pretty well updated and very clean, comfy. Beds and bathroom were comfortable. The location was superb. Can't beat it for the price I think and I travel a good amount.

Location upscale decorating room layout - linens. NA. Pleasantly surprised when walking into room very tastefully decorated good lighting in both bedroom area and bathroom plenty of desk and cabinet space, wonderful window treatments, coffee maker in room, lots of pillows. Free morning paper. Continental breakfast included assorted juices and coffee, waffles, boiled eggs, toasted bagel and cream cheese as well as Danish and muffins. Staff was pleasant. Our two tiny Maltese were allowed without any deposit! We will stay there again when visiting Raleigh, NC.

had to wait a long time to check in upon arrival. there was one customer in front of me, however i had arrived at the hotel at 11:30 p.m. wichi i had previously informed to front desk staff... the front desk person was very cold, not friendly and very laconic on his very limited coversation.

The location of La Quinta was excellent, since it was walking distance from the mall and good restaurants. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were decorated very uniquely, with a fresh artistic style. The complimentary continental breakfast was adequate. Unfortunately the pool was closed until Memorial day weekend, but it looked like a decent size. The one complaint I had was the noise from guests' dogs. I was unaware that this was a pet friendly hotel, and some of the dogs were very noisy.
