We attended the wedding of a relative. The hotel was centrally located to the church and other areas of our interest. The hotel had all that we needed for our stay. It is comparable to most places we have stayed in our travels. We were satisfied with the service and the location.

The room smelled of old smoke. The carpet was stained and noise from adjoining rooms and across the hall.

The hotel is going through a rennovation with extensive construction. The individual rooms have been rennovated. The lobby, hallways, and other public areas are still under reconstruction. Convenient location. The staff does their best, to be helpful during the construction,but I would wait until the end of this January 2008 when the construction should be completed. It will look nice then.

My experience for the most part was fine, The only problem was I had to move rooms because there was a party there with a very noisy dog that barked all night and day. The second day there I asked for either a discount on my bill or to be moved because of the disruption. I was told I was not the only one to complain. I felt like they should have done something about the dog instead of moving many guests around

No toilet paper in room when I arrived. Room dirty and smelled bad. Breakfast was ok, but I would spend a little extra money for a better place.steve

I am a frequent traveler. This was a quick two day visit with friends. This hotel was very clean. So, clean that I walked around the room looking into the corners of the ceiling to try and find some pealed wallpaper or paint. Or, maybe some discolored grout or shower sealant in the bathroom. I did this because I couldn't believe how clean it was. Well, I couldn't find anything. The room was big with an extremely comfortable king bed. There was a mini-fridge and a mini-microwave, the free high speed internet was fast and easy, I loved it all! For the price, this was one of the best values ever! The location, although very busy (traffic was horrendous) it was convenient to almost anything you might want, shopping, restaurants, banks, etc. and just five minutes to downtown. The service staff were very friendly. A pleasant hello, and good morning every time. Plus, complimentary breakfast. Now that I'm a budget minded traveler, this LaQuinta will be where I stay on all my trips to Montgomery. A thing that could be changed is the 3 p.m. check-in. That was very inconvenient as my flight arrived at noon. There didn't seem to be any flexibility on that issue. My only complaint.

My stay was pleasant overall. Upon arriving the room had clearly not been vacuumed. When a complaint was lodged at the front desk, they immediately responded with an offer to clean or allow a change of rooms

The room was very clean and spacious. Good deal for the money!! The staff could have been friendlier. Also, even though it was the end of May and knowing that it was hot outside; the pool was inoperable. The staff even forgot to mention this. Being a good hotel it would seem like they would offer any information on their hotel that was good or bad. I really don't think my family and I will stay here again.

The staff is great. I had to leave the fan on in the bathroom inorder to keep the mold spell out. also saw mold in the bathroom that had fresh chalk over it. the rug in the room was damp as if there had been a leak in the room...They changed my room because I did not feel safe on the first floor in the corner..that was not a problem...but the room had a terrible mold smell...my nose is still clogged a week later. If the old carpets in the room are ripped out and replaced and if they get rid of the mold, it would be a desent place to stay.

The person who checked us in was very pleasant. The doors were very noisy when they closed and you could hear them every few minutes. Then around 3:30 am the AC fan started making a noise. I would never stay at this hotel again. As stated above there was a lot of noise that kept me awake all night.

Price was our motivating factor for our overnight stay in Montgomery. The La Quinta at Carmichael was clean and manned with courteous staff.

La Quinta Inn and Suites is strategically located in Montgomery. Access to the shopping, colleges, gas stations, and dining is incredible. I enjoyed my stay! I loved the room's layout. I was very impressed with the room's design. I felt both comfortable and cozy in the room. The staff from housekeeping to front desk to management was extremely friendly and always wore a smile which made me feel at home. Upon exiting my vehicle I was greeted. This is important to me. It was evident that they love what they do!...and it shows. This hotel comes highly recommended.

Staff was extremely friendly, called the room just after I checked in to make sure the room was clean & up to my expectations. Nothing. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was more than accommodating. Love having microwave & coffee pot in room, also refrigerator.

"I was disappointed with what this hotel had to offer for the price. The non-smoking room where I stayed smelled like smoke, the service desk was unattended when I needed it, the breakfast items were stale, and I had to deal with being locked out of my room because my key card stopped working."

My stay there was ok, but it seemed to be an older hotel that had been remodeled. I could see the hallway under my door, and the door lock didn't seem to work properly. Also there were a lot of noisy guests that were talking loudly and in and out of there rooms until the early morning hours. It made sleeping comfortably somewhat difficult. Also the cable tv channel choices were very limited from what I am accustomed to. I'm not saying I wouldn't stay at a la quinta inn again, but probably would stay at this particular one.

Initial room assignment, room smelled of cigarette smoke and the bed not made up. Room reassignment made immediately! Motel close to interstate. Easy off/on location. Many options for dining close by. Would like to go back when we could spend a few days touring the area. Appeared as though there were many things to do and attractions to see.
