Date of Stay: April, 2008

The location is quite close to the consumer use area (restaurants, shopping) and located central to areas of interest in town and around the rural areas. This La Quinta is very new and the staff in place helped us off load, as all the new support equipment and some of the permanent staff hadn't yet been emplaced. We would suggest window covers that keep out more light (they were too transparent for lights in the parking areas and roadways). We were too tired after all day driving around to savor the inhouse amenities, and geting a good rest was very welcome. We make yearly trips to the area during wildflower season for personal enjoyment (photography), and will certainly use this locale again.

Good continental breakfast. Could not check in when we arrived at 1 pm. Average hotel but on-line check-in time advertised as 1pm, but actual check-in was 3pm. A business traveler if planning his day can't check in and clean up before a meeting could be very inconvenient.

Courteous staff - clean room - fairly new hotel. Would stay there again.
