Quiet & restful, which was just what we needed during a hectic vacation. The staff was quite helpful. The only complaint we had (aside from the mattress, which is a matter of personal preference) was that there was a flight of steps between the parking lot and the elevator bank.

Had a icebox and microwave in the room. Breakfast offering not properly maintained - had to ask for coffee pot refill. Clean, fairly well manage hotel in an easy location to find. English needs to be spoken as primary language at front desk. Overall okay hotel.

Hotel was clean and well furnished, but people coming and going in the hallway could be very clearly heard in the room, as if the door was made of tissue.

Clean, comfortable facility and friendly staff. Adding a business center would be great. We had 2 adults and 3 kids stay here for a ski vacation. This was our family's second stay at this hotel, and once again it did not disappoint. The pool and game room were great for the kids after a day on the slopes. Speaking of slopes, this hotel is only 20 - 40 minutes away from 5 different ski areas.

Spent one night there. Real good value. Doubly good value since the price was so good. The rooms were VERY nice, The bed was fantastic. We took two rooms - one King Bed, the other double-queen. Both were clean and well kept. The hotel has a nice fitness room - somewhat larger then the average one you find in such hotels. The pool looked nice as well (indoor pool) - we did not use the pool nor the fitness room though. Breakfast was good - nothing to write home about, but with the basic stuff all there. The one note I have is that front desk person was totally overworked and tired, to the point that when we needed extra towel I had to go and get it, since she was the only one around. I guess this is how they can afford low prices... There is an Italian restaurant right next to the hotel, a gas station with a convenience store, and some other food options. Drive time to Boston area was also reasonable - about 30 min. on a Monday morning (~10am).

Convenient to where I needed to be. Very little food on the continental breakfast and did not re-stock. The LaQuintas was very nice; however, the contintental breakfast was poor in comparison with other 2 star hotels. The hotel rationed the food.

I booked a room here using a website. Got the $*/night rate for 3 nights in early August. I booked 3 weeks in advance. I arrived at hotel with my confirmation number but they had no record of me. They searched and searched but nope. I had to use their lobby PC to logon to the web site, luckily I remembered my username/password, and then I printed up my confirmation, which they then honored and gave me the last room with two beds (my family of four). So after 3 wks planning and 300 miles of driving, we came very close to not having a room. After the trip I found an extra unexplained $85 charge on my bill, from a date I wasn't even there. I contacted their customer service and they corrected this. The local mgr was nice enough to send me a coupon for a free night. Great. Well then a few weeks later I (luckily) looked carefully at my credit card statement and now there are two more charges just in the last week (I haven't been there in a month!), totaling almost $150. I just finished contacting their customer service again to try to get this resolved permanently. So in summary, it's a nice hotel and the $* rate can't be beat, the local hotel staff was helpful and friendly, but LaQuinta's reservation and billing system has some serious problems. If you go there confirm your reservation up front with the hotel itself, and be sure to pay special attention to your credit card statements!

I found most things about this hotel to be satisfactory. The desk clerk was very helpful finding us a great seafood restaurant called Joe Fish, when we inquired about one. The restaurant was not close by, but was worth the drive. The complimentary breakfast area was congested during it's peak time, but there was plenty to eat and was constantly being replenished when items were low. The few complaints would be the heater in the room when used, stunk up the room. I only turned it on for a few seconds and quickly turned it off. From then on I only used the fan only setting to circulate air and create some noise to cover another more low level annoying noise in the building or parking lot. They also did not have an adult only pool time(s).

This is a lovely hotel. Great location. Marble entryway that is gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful. High valuted ceilings, luxury linens and gorgeous furniture. We have stayed at a lot of hotels but this one is above the rest. Especially because of the price. Beds are luxury pillowtop beds, feel great. Large room with mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Nice bathroom with thick boutique style towels. Marble countertop in bathroom. Pool is open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. which is wonderful. It is inside. Jacuzzi too. Breakfast in the breakfast room is yummy. Great spread of homemade waffels, bagels, fruit, jucies, boiled eggs and more. Good coffee also. Chili's is next door and many resturants deliver. The grounds are well kept. Nice residential area that is close to the interstate but you will never hear it. Don't even know it is close. Staff is friendly and attentive. We live 50 mins from this hotel in Maine. This was just an overnight stay after ending a trip from Cape Cod. It was so nice that we decided to stay an extra day. I am writing this review after spending one terrific evening at this special place.

Pool facilities are in excellent condition. Overcrowded breakfast area from 8 AM to 9:30 AM. We stayed here for one night to be close to a family event. Pool and hot tub were very clean, common areas were inviting and friendly and courteous staff. The location was great, close to the highway, with dining options within walking distance. Our room was clean, comfortable and just right for a family with grade school age kids.

We stayed here recently and enjoyed this hotel. It wasn't too far from Salem...and the price made it a great choice. It was clean, the pool was a nice size and the hot-tub was good. We travellled with our 24 & 21 yr olds. There was a continental breakfast, which had waffles too...which made it better than most. The only problem was that they didn't clean either of our two rooms on the second day. We had a DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door until !0:00, my daughter didn't have any sign on hers. The front desk told us that they didn't clean the rooms because of the sign...we couldn't figure it out! So if you want maid service...get out before 10 AM! The front desk was very quick to get us all the towels , coffee , and soaps that we needed. Would use this hotel again....for sure!

I like very much this hotel. The room is very confortable and I appreciate microwave and fridge because I make a little dinner in the room. I appreciate Internet in the lobby because my daughter not come with us and I have a news of her with Internet. I appreciate too come with my dog.

The cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff and the room was big and very comfortable. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone traveling to this area. Hopefully I have chance to go back to it.

My husband, 8 month old daughter and I stayed here while visiting Salem, MA. We were very impressed with this hotel from the staff, to the rooms to the breakfast they have. Everything was much better then we expected! We're coming back to Salem next October and plan on staying here again!! I would highly recommend this hotel.

The bed is comfortable, breakfast don't have much to choose from but I don't expect they will have a grand breakfast buffet with this price range anyway. Needed some tricks to turn on the shower and use the phone. What surprise me was that there was no shampoo provided, when I asked the staff, she said the hotel did not provide shampoo but later told me that they were out of shampoo and finally she found one for me after checking into some rooms.

Comfortable bed, safe location, clean lobby, wireless internet, pool, hot tub, HBO. Continental breakfast. The rating for this hotel was appropriate, most comfortable bed and fast wireless internet.
