The room was big. The bathroom was not clean and there was plenty of mildew. Breakfast time was only until 9am (10am on weekends) which is too early. Next time we stay closer uptown.

I was attenting a business meeting north of Charlotte. The La Quinta was quiet and the front desk staff was very cordial. It was a good value during these tough times. However the major drawback was that I wished that there had been a restaurant in the hotel so I could have ordered something upon returning last night. The Embassy Suites and Hyatt each had properties on the same block but I didn't much feel like exploring and went to bed.

Clean rooms, nice breakfast, decent service. The rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel had a few maintenance items that need to be cared for, but overall it is in decent shape. I don't often stay in hotels, but I would definitely recommend this hotel even to the pickiest of travelers. The rooms were not suite-quality but I didn't feel claustrophobic either as the layout is fairly open.

1. the beds are pillow top and really comfortable.!!! 2. the pillows r feather filled! 3. the hotel staff r professional. i stayed at this hotel for 6 days and they always provided me with whatever i needed!!! 4. this hotel is the best for the money..clean, good neighborhood, quiet, peaceful. 5. the bathrooom was clean...the absolute works.everything was top knotch. the continental breakfast was good...internet worked without any delays. all towels were white!! not stained or frayed or second hand looking. linen was white..no stains or wrinkles..windows were clean.everything in the room worked perfectly..would definitely stay there again..thanks guys

We were her for only a one-night stopover before going on to Charleston, but the hotel was clean, convenient to the airport (with a shuttle), and the staff was knowledgeable and courteous. The room was large and comfortable, with enough space to spread out if you were going to be there for a while. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My husband and I were here for two nights, and the staff were nice to us (i.e., saying "hello, how are you?" "Have a nice day"). Others guests were sociable and nice, too. We were able to check in two hours before the actual check in time.

Heating system noisey Pool very small and lighting for pool and area not good

Friendly staff, easy to find, clean rooms. Did not really take action of the very noisy people in the next room. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Did have a problem with very loud people next door and we were not able to go to sleep until 5:00 am. Did call down to the front desk 3 times. Also instead of crediting back some money, they kept taking it out of my account and that is an issue I am still trying to resolve!

Good hotel, pet friendly and a great breakfast bar. Security a question--side doors which signs say require card-key to enter were open even at night. Also, La Quinta does not allow additional cots in rooms with two double beds. No one could answer my question "so where does my third child sleep?" Overall a good place to stay in Charlotte.

Check-in and Check-out were very fast and easy. We felt secure at this hotel. We had our dog with us. The staff was very pet freindly although the hotel does not have a pet walking area and the surroundings do not offer much for pet activities. The staff was very helpful and friendly to the people as well as the pets. They offered a very nice breakfast on the weekends. We would definately stay here again.

This location was very handy to the airport and was centrally located to many resteraunts and shoppes when i return to Charlotte I will be staying at the La Quinta and the staff was very accomodating

We came down for a Nascar race and just couldn't get over how nice the staff were at this hotel. Rooms were great, clean, breakfast was great, lots of choices. Beds were very comfortable. We had alot of fun during our stay, and reallly enjoyed talking to the staff at the front desk. Very pleased with how we were treated at this hotel. Would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Charlotte area. Also, very easy access off the interstate. Steakhouse across the street was WAY too pricey, though and not enough restaurants within walking distance from hotel.

I checked in late, and asked for nearby restaurants, particularly Chinese. The front desk guy acted like I was asking for information about Mars. Then he hands me a room key card that I realize later has a coupon to Panda Express, which was fairly close. At bedtime, I discovered it was a pet friendly hotel FOR ALL SIZES OF DOGS which included a large, very unhappy dog whose owners had left for the evening. At 11:15 I had to pack all my belongings and move to a different room. Breakfast is 6-9, and I thought 9 was terribly early even for some business travelers. And it wasn't much of a breakfast bar.

Great stay. Apreciated the shuttle service to airport. Pool was not open yet but looked like it soon would be. Also the desk clerk printed my airline boarding pass. Thanks for a great stay in Charlotte.
