WE were in town for my mother-in-laws funeral. Overall, it was a very nice hotel, and we would stay there again.

Location. Smoking room and could not get rid of smell even with a candle. Overall, I was a little disappointed with this hotel. It started when only smoking rooms were available, and then when I got to my room and the trash can was half full from the previous occupant.

THE GOOD: Check-in staff was courteous with a short wait time. We arrived about 30 minutes early (before 3:00pm check-in) but were still allowed to get our room. Room was clean and the small frig and microwave were handy. Lots of nearby places to eat with both a Waffle House and an IHOP on each side of the hotel. THE BAD: Immediately had a problem with no a/c; after a 30 minute wait maintenance arrived...a tripped circuit breaker on the a/c unit power cord. We found ourselves having to reset the breaker at least 6 times in 2 days, including at 3:00-4:00am. The bed pillows are small, thin and flimsy...they give you 3...3?? so forget propping-up in bed to watch tv. The ice dispenser on the 3rd floor didn't work so down to the 2nd for ice...fortunately the frig keeps it frozen for a while. The housekeeping staff are needlessly loud at 8:30am yelling at each other down the hall (sometimes using language that would be offensive to some) so forget sleeping late. The card key to room and exterior hotel door quits working before the 12:00pm check-out time posted on the room door so have someone stay in the room if making multiple trips to load-up your vehicle. Parking is limited if coming back very late at night. We went over Memorial Day weekend and paid 150/night; wish that we would have spent the extra 50/night and stayed at the Eldorado on the river where we hung-out with friends the entire stay in Shreveport.

Rooms were very nice. Constantly awakened and disturbed by slamming doors from hallway. Not worth staying here, especially if you're needing a good nights sleep. Someone needs to change the springs on those doors so they won't slam shut echoing down the hallways. I stayed here 2 nights and will not stay here ever again because of this.

Our stay was pretty much awesome! I was pleasantly surprised. It's hard to find a hotel that will accept pets and I might stay at this hotel again, even if it didn't. The only issue we had was how unfriendly ONE of the front desk staff members were. The other staff members were great. Upon arrival this staff member was not friendly at all and when we had an issue with our internet, she was not helpful and spoke way too fast to have the strong accent that she had. She didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Customer service can really make or break a decision of where we spend our money. Although everything else was really good at this hotel, including the breakfast, the front desk's sour attitude would break the deal for me if I had to choose between two hotels. If you do have a problem at a hotel, you want to deal with friendly people to help you.

Room was very nicely designed, clean and spacious with convenient access to the room via the parking lot. I was told by the front desk the hotel was wireless throughout but later discovered the wireless feature is in the lobby area and not in each room. I would certainly consider staying at the facility in the future and would recommend it to others.

The hotel has easy access off I-20 and is located near restaurants. Quiet, clean, spacious rooms. The hotel lobby has doors that open automatically for customers. This is a wonderful feature, especially when your hands are full. The complimentary continental breakfast was great. Hotel has a clean lobby and beautiful landscaping all around. I would stay here again.

Beds were very comfortable! Very friendly staff. I would stay at this hotel again due to the cleanliness and the hospitality of the hotel staff. But most of all the beds were very comfortable and as everyone knows you don't come by that very often!

Centrally located. Could not get a king size. Overall it was a nice stay, the lobby and hallways were uncomfortably warm. I felt they did not have enough luggage carts; we had to wait 15 minutes. For the only one.

The hotel met all our needs for a decent price. Location was a little tricky to get to. Once we figured it out, it was ok. Pretty much what you expect at La Quinta, clean, comfortable and pleasant. Staff could be a little more attentive at breakfast. Good experience for our family.

The location was excellent & accessible to several dining facilities. The TV remote did not work. I made four trips to the lobby for a TV remote as the existing did not work. The room key had to be re-programmed several times which resulted in additional trips to the lobby.

The hotel was very clean and the people were friendly. There was nothing that I did not like about my stay. It was very clean and the people that I dealt with were friendly and if I go back that way I would like to stay there again.

Very nice, clean rooms--staff helpful when giving directions to different places in town--great breakfast! Staff seemed to be on personal calls and would not hang up until call was finished--was very helpful but had to wait until he/she was through talking. We would love to come back to this hotel during a family vacation. The weekend my husband and I went to Shreveport was a time to relax my mind. I had just finished Summer I in graduate school and was exhausted. I really felt relaxed during the course of our stay at this hotel.

The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is clean, the beds are very well taken care of, the air conditioning is very cold even on the lowest setting. I think there could have been more fruit at the breakfast, but otherwise it was filling. The staff was polite and cordial. The room was clean and fresh even for a smoking room. The beds and sheets were soft and clean. The air conditioning worked very well. The bathroom was sanitary and kept up well. I would recommend it for anyone who needs to stay in the Shreveport area for any length of time. I slept better than I have in any other motel. Thanks.
