Apparently you get one set of towels for the duration of your stay. There was a lot of noise late at the hotel...lots of teenagers that particular weekend. The breakfast staff was not the most energetic group I've ever encountered. It was after 7am and they had about half of the small breakfast setup. I don't think I'll stay here again. The price was lower than others though and I did get sleep...which is all I was really looking for in the first place.

Enjoyed breakfast, and make your own waffles station. Bed is not very comfortable, but the worst nightmare was the filthy bathroom. The only thing I can think of when I remember the hotel, is the dirty bathroom! We drove in from Dallas, and pretty much crashed to sleep when checked in. When I looked at the place in the morning I was disgusted! I doubt that the maids ever actually clean the bathtub. The corners in the bathroom were crusted with dirt and hair, the outside of a water tank for the commode had enough dust deposit to scoop with a spoon. The iron was covered in smudge. I would probably have expected to see that in a motel, not a chain hotel. Oh, and staff somehow reminded of the Walmart service,"Next in line, please!", no "Hello", eye contact or anything like that. Then again, maybe my expectations were too high, since this was my first stay at LaQinta.

The hotel was not the nicest of choices but offered convenient location to campus, helpful and friendly staff, and pretty good rooms. My only complaint is that the walls and floors are paper thin and you have to be very quiet in order not to disturb anyone. If you are traveling to LSU I recommend this hotel because it is pretty close to campus and there are SEVERAL food places and a few shopping places on the same road as the hotel. I was very pleased with my stay.

The hotel was very easy to find. The rooms were neat and clean. It was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in our room. We had to walk a little to get to the pool; however, it was nice to swim on a very hot day.

In town to visit daughter & grandson with In-Law family. Arrived just about 2pm - told that the rooms was not ready to return at 3pm (not good - dogs had to stay in the heat and car). When we returned at 3:50pm we were told the room still was not ready. I gathered that there was a storage of housekeeping personnel and the room cleaning was running behind. Not the customers problem - need to have a backup plan. Several other customers where in the same situation. They did find us a room by 4:10pm - it was clean and orderly. The hotel is well used could use some maintenance in the room. Not close to a restaurant. Staff was friendly just stressed. The air conditioning was all or none, so we slept in a temperature of 68.

Kitchen. Dirty. The lobby was somewhat clean but the stair case well to our room had trash everywhere and the access control doors were broken. My room had a couch covered with stains (nasty). The bed was wore out the beds spread had never been washed. The kitchen sink was not clean or the silverware.

I have stayed in a few hotels in my time but this was the best of all. First of all I loved the bed with my back problems I have not had a good night sleep like I did and the breakfast was fantastic. I was not expecting such a breakfast like I had. Fantastic, thank you. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly and made sure that I had everything I needed. I wish I could have stayed longer.

I could not check in until 3pm. They claimed a room was being prepared. NOT! Room was dirty when I entered. I took a picture of the trash underneath the desk and let deskclerk see it. Sent someone to pick it up. Should have offered a free night or something. Bathroom old and dingy.

We arrived late at night and the staff was friendly. Our room was ready and check in was minimal. The only downfall was the limited parking. When it was time to leave, another car had parked so close to my vehicle I had to get in through the passenger's side!

Convenient to interstate 10. Hotel staff unfriendly and uncooperative. The hotel staff made check-in unpleasant. The non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smote, was dirty, and housekeeping dug through my bags while I was away.

This hotel has suffered damage from Katrina evacuees. They need to shut down and refurbish. It smells and rooms are filthy.

The hotel was very nice. I just needed a day away from home. The services were good and the staff polite. The only thing that I didn't like was thje fact that animals /pets are allowed to stay in the rooms. i am not a pet owner and I do know that owners love their pets as much as their children. It is good for them to beable to bring them with them on vacation. I just don't think it is sanitary for pets to be in the rooms. Many owners like to let their pets lie in the beds and that concerns me.

The housekeeper was excellent, very helpful and friendly. Several problems with the room, things broken, and not working. Location was great, staff was good, the housekeeper assigned to my room was wonderful, the drain didn't have a stopper so I couldn't take a bath, and chair at the desk was broken, the ice machine was leaking on my floor. I thought the price was a little high.

The roms smelled of mildew all the time. The bathrooms need to be repaired. There were no additional supplies like soap, towels or glasses. It is great to conserve but this was too much.

I was so tired that when I arrived it could have been a dump and I would have been okay. I am grateful to say that it wasn't a dump and proved to be very comfortable. My only problem was that my room number was illegible on my card. I thought I knew the number but when I got there it didn't work. So...not wanting to leave my bags outside...I carried them back down to get my key checked. It would have worked if I had gone to the right room...but it really wasn't easy to tell what the correct room was. Oh well. Clean room. Comfy bed. Good air conditioner.

The location was good; there were a lot of restaurants close by the hotel. Most of the reviews were negative and related to the cleanliness of the hotel. However, that wasn't the case. I found the property to be clean and comfortable. Nice 2-star hotel with friendly staff.

We had some family business to attend to. I choose this hotel because it was at a resonable price, allowed pets, and not too far from where we needed to go. Once I arrived there, we notice how close it was to a lot of things (stores, food place, etc). When we checked into hotel and went to the room, we found that the room was a little to stuffy. We lowered air conditioner to cool off room and came back 3 hours later to find that room was still very hot. It took a long time to get comfortable. Other than the warmnest of the room everything else was pretty good. I would recommend this hotel to stay in, with the only suggestion that the hotel staff expecting a room to be inuse, make sure that it is not hot for their guest.

We were given a roll away bed. The hotel allowed animals. The hotel clerk who checked us in said that a roll away bed cost $10 per night. We had two rooms and she didn't give us adjourning rooms. I think when more than one is rented; they should be next to each other. One of the room¿s air conditioner didn't work, so we had to move to another room. The next night the hotel clerk gave us a roll away bed free. He said there was no cost for the bed. Why did the clerk on the first night lie? Was she trying to pocket the money?

Very clean with no pet odor though they allow pets. A dog on a leash was allowed in the breakfast area. This was formerly a Baymont Inn and is a step above most La Quinta's. I object to staying in a room where animals have been (allergic) and requested a room free of pet dander. My request wasn't received warmly, however on leaving I spoke to the same person saying I was pleased there was no evidence of animals having been in the room. He replied that in the wing I was in, he did not place animals. The breakfast exceeded my expectations with boiled eggs and fresh fruit as well as the usual. The raisin bread was especially nice.

Price. Difficult to find, even with GPS - still listed under former name. OK for one night traveling. In the midst of redoing hotel since taking over Baymont. Furnishings "tired".
