Convenient access, clean rooms and lobby. Walls a bit thin, had to listen to kids next room over. Reasonably priced hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

We only stayed in the hotel one night, while passing through with our small children. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The decor was pleasant. We were pleased to find hot waffles, milk and real juice the next morning included in the continental breakfast rather than the traditional toast & muffins only (although those were there too). I would definitley stay there again, especially considering the price. Although if I were wanting to experience the "real" historic Santa Fe, I might want to stay a little closer to downtown. This hotel was a great location for traveling through... right off the highway.

Office staff was incompetent. We booked 3 rooms / 2 nights for our family and this proved to be a challenge for them. They could not keep track of which rooms they put us in. The first night the manager entered one of the rooms at 7:30pm to see if anyone was staying there. Then at 11:40pm an employee entered the same room and quickly left. Later the front desk called to see if anyone was staying there. This, needless to say, was a bit unnerving. We went to the office in the morn and asked to speak with the manager. We were met with indifference by staff and they lied, telling us that the manager would not be back for a week. They insisted the confusion over the rooms was taken care of. That night, remarkably, the manager entered one of our other rooms to see if anyone was staying there! Why they could not read a computer screen, check a receipt, or simply call, remained a mystery. We never got a reasonable explanation. Aside from this fiasco, I was unaware of the fact that this is a dog motel. Pets are welcome! So if you like to treat your animals like they are humans, and take them on trips with you, then I highly recommend this motel for you. Even the manager kept his dog in the front office. There were dogs everywhere. Needless to say, there was also dog excrement everywhere. There were some nice things about the motel: The beds were comfy, it was cheap, it is near a mall and restaurants, and it was not as noisy as most 3 story motels.

It's a good value, "okay" hotel if you're just looking for a clean, quiet place to sleep. The complimentary breakfast was extremely limited with no healthy choices. Although some rooms have refrigerators, mine did not, so don't count on it.

We got a room at this hotel for $* a night with AAA discount. While we had to drive a few miles to the plaza, it was worth it for the amount of money we saved. The room was nice and clean. The continental breakfast included waffles. In my opinion it was a great value for the price we paid.

Pulled down sheets, full of hair. Beds had been made up but not changed. Bathtub and bathroom floor also had hair. Such a nice room so was very disappointed.

We were en route to AZ, stopping fo rthe night, and a bad snow storm had been through Sante Fe a day earlier. The parking lot was a fozen snowy mess. There was not any grass or other sand/gravel area cleared for my two dogs to do their thing so it was a bit inconvenient but the staff were fine with them. We had a TV in the room that really did not work properly; the picture went into a straight line from time to time but overall, the amenities were OK. Had the weather cooperated better and the parking lot not so frozen and rutted, we would have had a great stay. The room was spacious and the bathroom area was a real surprise - nice and big with the tub and toliet separate.

The La Quinta was a life saver. I had been checking for available hotel rooms in Santa Fe and could not find any due to the Indian Market. I was checking with the online travel website when suddenly La Quinta popped up with available rooms at a reasonable price. Check-in was a breeze. The continental breakfast was good with ample choices. Our rooms were clean and quiet. I will stay there again.

Continental breakfast. Pool not open, only decaf coffee in room, too far from Plaza. It was OK. It was farther from town, I had to go to the desk every day for regular coffee and creamer, the pool wasn't open yet.

This La Quinta basically met my expectations. At a budget motel you don't expect anything luxurious or any special services. The room was clean, normal-sized, and relatively up-to-date. The pool was small but clean. The free breakfast was the same as any other free breakfast you get at this type of motel. Overall: nothing special, but what you would expect. The main downside of this motel is its location in Santa Fe. It's far from the center (Plaza) and in an area of malls and chain restaurants. It is convenient to the freeway, however. Stay here if you are on a budget and don't have to be in the center of the action.

The front desk was friendly and the room was fairly clean, but my kids got sick swimming in the pool and the hotel was very overpriced, not worth your money at all.

Nothing. It was a very old motel with outside entrance and hard beds. I was very disappointed in this motel; it was old, hard beds, outside entrance; the front desk never answered the phones and I would never stay there again.

La Quinta Inn, Spanish for ?Careful where you rest your head.? The bed was extremely hard, you felt every spring in the mattress and the pillows were flat. Not to mention the overall appearance is rather outdated and stale. There were no basic toiletries set out in the room such as basic body soap or shampoo and I have bigger wash cloths then the rough overly used towels they hang on the wall. When I complained of the accommodations, the staff looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. I was supposed to be at this hotel for two nights but decided to count my losses by moving up the way to better accommodations with a balcony where I got my much needed rest and cleanliness back. When it comes down to it, I have clients in Santa Fe, NM and I will NEVER stay at this hotel again regardless of the promotion and cost. It's worth the extra cash to feel well rested and not feel like you need a shower right after getting out of the shower.

Good location and near the downtown area. Needs a lot of care inside the hotel. Anyone at the front desk should speak English. Spanish as a second language was great, but font desk personnel should speak English. Breakfast was limited as there was not enough food.
