This La Quinta Inn made me a believer in this chain. I have signed up for the rewards program because I will definitely be back. Our room overlooked the pool and the kids loved swimming in it. It was very spacious and even had a recliner to relax in. The kids brought their Wii game and we all had plenty of room to hang out and not be in each other's way.

Eager to please, efficent, expiditious, clean, polite, commendable, excellent service, honest, goes the whole 9 yards for clients. N/A The trained staff at La Quinta Inn are very polite, and wanted to make sure every guest was accomodated in their own unique way. The cleaning crews are efficent, very expiditious and eager to meet everyones needs. I watched as a young lady requested breakfast after hours and one of the staff go out of their way to ensure that the woman had her morning meal peacefully. They are always and will always be "my hotel" when I venture into Chula Vista. I love the smiles that greet you all day and late into the evenings. The security gaurd makes me feel safe and allows us to settle in and focus on our business at hand. La Quinta Inn in puts the Chula back in Chula Vista! Melody Moreno (travelling for Candy Yates)

I was bitten by bed bugs. The room was filthy and had a terrible stench. This is a disgusting hotel.

Check in was fast and easy. No problems at all.

Nothing. Terrible hotel. At least 40-50 yrs old and has not been updated. Very weak wireless signal, so you can't use the internet. The thermostat was broken. Lousy TV signal with limited channels on a small outdated TV.

This hotel was a very nice place to stay for the money we paid. it was close to a few restaurants, gas stations and the freeway. the room was nice and clean and we didnt have any security problems. we stayed here for 6 nights and would probably stay here again becasue it was so convenient.

I was there for Mother's day to visit with my daugheter who is in the naval base there.

Rooms were clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy access to restaurants and business routes. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and quiet. Perfect location for business travelers. The free wireless for the laptop is also nice. Nothing fancy. Just good clean rooms.

This hotel had the basic minimal accomodations. I asked to be in a room that was quiet, and rather than being on the back side of the property, I was on the side with noise from the street, freeway and the car wash nearby.

no elevator (out of service)

It was close to the concert we were going to. No down pillows. It fit our needs at the time.

Overall experience was good. Rooms clean, big bathroom. Beds were bad, but while there, they were changing out all the beds. Bee's at the pool!

We couldn't control temperature/speed of the a/c in the room. Our options were: plug in, unplug. The room was clean but had that hint of dingy/mildew smell. The pool was decent but could have been cleaner. The location was conviently right off the freeway though.

Convenient. Older furniture and soft mattress; older feeling to room.

My wife & I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel staff was very accommodating. Loved the convenient, continental breakfast every morning.

I was put in a room with weak wireless, make sure you request a central room.
Date of Stay:

The hotel was near the freeway, but not noisy. Nearby fast food and family restaurant, plus gas/mart. Free internet. Lobby and breakfast area are all same open space, which is small and got busy and crowded in the morning. The hotel was a typical low rise with a small pool and small fitness room. It was being painted and there were other repairs needed, such as some of the fitness equipment and waffle-maker, plus the lights went out in the lobby and there was very little natural light in the breakfast area. But the room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great Location. Very Clean and great staff.

It's location. There was no dining. There was a funny noise coming after using the bath all night. I like this hotel but it could be much better just caring the room more.
