The LaQuinta Inn was more than I expected. It exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, the location quiet and the bed was very comfortable. My husband and I were making our way from Texas to Maryland and it was a relief to sleep in a comfortable bed after sitting a car for 6 hours. The hotel was clean and conveniently located to shopping centers and restaurants.

Very comfortable room. Quiet. Convenient to work site. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was quite comfortable, with a mini-fridge and microwave. Traveling as much as I do, the laundry room down the hall was very convenient.

I have stayed at the newly named LaQuinta many times when I visit with my family in Virginia. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are being updated but are still clean and safe. Beds are very confortable. Will definately stay again.

It was in a good area. The room was to small for 4 people. The hotel was under construction and if I had known we would have picked some other place. The area were the breakfast was being served was too small. And when we went to check in at 1:30 pm. The room was not ready and my paper work said we could check in at 12:00 noon.

Good motel. Front desk staff and maids friendly. Room was comfortable and very clean. Billing was a bit of an issue but should be handled by now.Would stay again.

Good room size, clean, good size fridge, microwave, convenient location, quiet. Nice sized rooms, clean, quiet; large fridge with microwave, lots of TV channels. Easy checkin. Staff was very helpful, providing a handmade map with locations of restaurants/shopping. Conveniently located. Good value. Would recommend/stay again.

My room was infested with ants. While the staff did claim to spray inside and out after my complaint, I still found (and killed) as many ants "after spraying" as I did before I complained. I did not demand another room, nor was one offered. A minor annoyance was the fact that there was no ice machine on my floor, and had to go to another floor to access ice and/or snacks. Not exactly convenient. Given that there are so many other hotels in the area to choose from, I wouldn't choose this one again or recommend it.

* This hotel had such great reviews so I decided to stay here. I do not share the opinions of the other reviewers. There was a girls basketball event going on so the whole hotel was full of screaming teenage girls. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't keep running down the halls and slamming doors all night. I complained to the front desk & they said they would "try" and do something. * The bed was so lumpy and uncomfortable. * The bathroom was dirty. * The business center with a computer and work table was "out of order." * The only good things were convenience to downtown Roanoke (about 15 minute drive) and the hotel was safe & secure, but I still wouldn't stay here again. * * + a night is a rip off. * Hence, I don't recommend this hotel.

It was cleaned, good breakfast, and good location. The rooms were slightly dated. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. If I go to the same area I would stay there again.

I have never stayed at a Baymont before but it was very clean and there was a wonderful complimentary breakfast, inexpensive soda/water machine and on premise washer/dryer. Very convenient to the major highway adn airport.

"I stayed at the Baymont Inn for 2 weeks on business. I stayed here because: free internet, free breakfast, free parking, easy freeway access, quiet rooms, friendly staff. If you need a room in Salem/Roanoke this is a great place to stay. Its not fancy like the Hotel Roanoke, but it costs half as much, and has everything you need for free. I would stay here again."

"I""ve never stayed at a Baymont Inn prior to this trip. I had never even heard of Baymont. When I booked, I was very concerned that, for the price asked, I would be getting a bare bones, no frills kind of room.Boy, was I surprised!!! It was great!!!Good location, great (spotless)room, friendly staff, and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitelyuse again and reccommend to friends and family."

"This was our first stay in a Baymont Inn, but certainly will not be our last. This particular hotel was close to the highway, inexpensive, clean, and secure. The best part, however, was the free continental breakfast, which included a self-service waffle station. The hot breakfast was an unexpected luxury that enabled us to get right back on the road in the morning. "
