Date of Stay:

It provided all I needed as I was there to visit a friend in the area that was dying.

It had a beautiful woodland view. It was outdated. If planning on just sleeping in room, it is fine. If planning on hanging out in room, don't.

I will stay again when I travel to Phoenix, AZ. The room is clean and the staffs are friendly.

I only stayed in this hotel for one day.....They put me in a room that didn't have a working toilet. It flooded all over the bathroom and into my luggage. It was a MESS!! Needless to say, I called the front desk. They said they'd send a plumber. In the meantime, I had to leave for a business meeting. When I got back, late at night, the bathroom was cleaned up, but the toilet still didn't flush!! I won't even mention how I managed to go to the bathroom.....The next day, when I checked out, I told the young man at the desk about it and asked if I could receive some kind of discount or refund. He said he couldn't because I booked it online. He could have cared less! I did get a refund through online..Thank God I booked through them, because I know they wouldn't have refunded me. Also, the continental breakfast was nothing but stale bagels and french toast and cereal. It would have been fine, but the bagels were hard as rocks. Plan on eating out, if you're hungry. The hotel was clean and close to the airport, which was convenient, but my stay was a disaster. BEWARE!!

Staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was convenient and the free airport shuttle was a plus. Bed was comfortable and pool was clean and well taken care of. Would recommend this hotel.

I've stayed at this property several times while visiting relatives in the area, and I'll stay there again. Upside: cheap, clean and close to airport, Tempe and ASU. Downside: older property, and can be challenging to find or access as it's kinda hidden. The area seems very safe: maybe beause it's hidden away? I haven't used phone or pool or internet or had breakfast there as we just sleep there and leave in the morning. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. As I mentioned, the property is older, but it's well maintained. The grounds and rooms could use a remodel, but that doesn't bother me as the staff keeps it all very clean. Also, the rooms are kept ice cold; perfect for sleeping in Phoenix.

The first draw for this hotel was the price. But I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in to see that the hotel deserves at least a three star rating! The room was spacious, it was in a relatively nice section of Tempe with easy access from the highway. The rooms were clean and kept that way by staff that provided prompt attention. The complimentary continental breakfast is an excellent touch for those who want to get up and out in the morning. I would definately stay there again.

The great service & friendly atmostphere went along with the very clean room for a very reasonable price.

It was quiet. Only thing I disliked was that it was very hard to find. Liked the hotel, but was aggravated because it was hard to find. Booked it to be near the airport. Figure on about 30 minutes to return a rental car. Had early flight so did not have breakfast at hotel. No early shuttles to the airport.

Good location, very clean, easy check-in.......NO elevator (our room was on the second floor, and I have a bad knee, making climbing steps very painful for me.) We had an early flight to catch in Phoenix and needed to get an early start, but breakfast wasn't ready until exactly 7:AM..........one lady who was waiting for breakfast was reprimanded sternly by the desk attendant for turning on the light in the breakfast area! The room was full by the time the attendant put out the food......this should tell the owners something! This was really our major problem with the hotel. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.

We had a great experience at this little hotel. It's very close to the airport, has free shuttle service and wireless internet, the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and rooms were spotless. I totally recommend it.

When my wife and I first arrived at the hotel and saw it we were disapointed in that there were outside corriders. The hotel location is in a a good area though and we decided to give it a try as you can't beat the room rate. The hotel staff were friendly and helpfull. The room was well kept and clean and the rugs looked fairly new. High speed internet worked well and is free. I used the Lan cable but they have wireless if you prefer. We had to call the front desk several times for differant things and they were at the room in 10 minutes or less and took care of things. I was impressed because the hotel was pretty full at the time. It is 10 minutes from the airport and about 5 minutes from I 10 and a few miles from the University of Arizona. Complimentary continental breakfast was ok, But don't wait untill the last minute if you know what i mean. We stayed two nights and would stay there again. If your using a GPS to get to the hotel ,ours did not recognize 48th st. The hotel is at the intersection of expressway 147 and University drive behind the Denny's on University. Entrance is thru the Denny's parking lot. Hope this was helpfull.

we were mainly there to sleep but in 105 degree weather we ended up staying in the pool during the days - staff was very friendly and professional and while I didn't make it up in time for their breakfast (might extend the time to 10:00 am instead of 9:00 am) my husband says the breakfast was good and they had a good variety - we had just spent a week in Aneheim at another chain hotel where we had to pay $7.00 for juice, cold cereal and muffins - LaQuinta has them beat hands down

I was attending a graduation. It should be noted that right outside the door of the hotel is the Valley Metro bus stop which was excellent and economical. ( 2.50 All day and unlimited transfers runs 4 A.M. to 10 PM.). Free Breakfast adequate)

it was just your basic average room, but the beds were terrible! my mom and i couldn't sleep well at all. the free breakfast sucked too. how about serving some sausage or bacon?? and scrambled eggs, not hard-boiled.
