This particular La Quinta was disapointing to us,as we have stayed at other locations throughout the U.S. There was a sign up saying excuse the renovation but according to the other reviews, they have been doing this for some time. The building is old and musty smelling, the carpet in the room had not been cleaned for some time. Towels had stains.Smoke detector broken off. Holes in walls, outside door latch was broken, anyone could have entered the hotel, no surveilance cameras? The condition was not typical for La Quinta, expect to see this hotel closed down soon. Hard to understand the hotel clerks too. The location was perfect for UVSC, but we will travel further next time for a better Hotel.

Continental breakfast and access to freeway. Staff reception upon check in was undesirable. It was as if I were not even standing at the desk. All-in-all it was a pleasant experience and I would stay here again.

My husband had a stroke. We were driving back to canada. and we had to go to hospital. it was so convenient that the hotel was right of the freeway and the hospital. the people at the hotel treated me like a family.

This hotel sounded like a great deal:king sized executive suite for a great price, nice lobby and free high speed internet, but I would have been better served by any other hotel in the area. I was admitted to a room with dirty drapes, burned out light bulbs, a broken hair dryer, dirty sheets, no amenities (such as room service), a coffee maker without filters, poor TV reception, and carpet that was peeling up in places exposing the tacks along the edges. The service at the front desk was amicable, but the housekeeping staff actually tried to enter my room before knocking. In fairness, the hotel is undergoing remodeling, but I felt uncomfortable and inconvenienced in a room that was obviously unfinished. All in all, you can find much better value for your money. Don't even bother with this location.

The staff was the poorest quality - couldn't process registration, put me a room under construction, had to go to lobby 3 times to a key that worked, room was being used for storage for small refrigerators, dirty room, drapes covered AC and blocked air from getting into room, hotel lobby, halls, and rooms smelled like bleach and drywall, ....shall I go on? Terrible experience - I will never do this again. Nothing is nearby except HomeDepot and the freeway.

Staff was excellent, clean and everything I needed was provided.

I reserved my room on their website for a great rate. When I got there the front desk personnel was very rude and told me there was "no way the room was that price" so i was quoted $10 more... no big deal right? So then we asked for a non-smoking room and we got a room that smelled like old musty cigarettes with burn marks all over the sink and bathtub. When we woke up to a cold shower the front desk personnel then told the the story of how some guy in another room let the water run all night and that was the reason for the lack of hot water! Not only did i take a cold shower but the bill for my room was on a piece of paper with my name, credit card info and price of room sitting on floor outside the room for everyone to see AND the price of the room ended up being $20 more! I asked to speak to a manager and he gave me a business card with a name and number on it telling me to call it. So i left, got into my car, called the number only to be put on hold for 5 minutes and then transfered back to the front desk speaking to the same rude front desk personnel! I am writing a letter today to the company! Horrible stay

The renovations being done at the the hotel were rather annoying.I stayed for a week and would leave around 7 every morning and come back around 7 @ night only to encounter remodeling personnel still working. The smell from the wallpaper glue was overwhelming and one can still smell it when inside the room. There is a computer for guests' use but the front desk personnel were always using it.Overall, you can get a better value for your money.

The hotel is going through remodeling which is needed. There was dust and materials in the hallways. The backdoor was left open on numeerous occasions even as late as 10p.m.. The room we were put in was right next to the elevator which rattled with each use. The bathroom was nice and the room contained a small refrigerator and microwave plus coffee pot - a plus. The carpet and bedspread were both very old, worn and tattered. The heat/cooler could only be set at predetermined temps ie. 68 for heat and 74 for cooler.

It was comfortable. Response to our service requests was minimally satisfactory. It was okay, but the staff didn't always seem to know how to resolve problems. The internet service was not always reliable. Breakfast was mediocre.

The motel was under renovation, but was not even clean. The paint on the carpet wasn't great, but the dust, dirt, food from previous guests, and paper litter was even worse. We had the impression they didn't even vacuum the room during our stay. This place must improve or it shouldn't be listed by online travel. It is just not in shape that it should be recommended to anyone until it is improved, cleaned, and reopened with better partners.

I had twod dogs. I had been traveling for more then 12 hours. I was tired. I stop 6 different hotls to get a room. but they wouldn't allow pets. I like this hotel. Not only they allow pets. I had great time at this hotel. as well as my family also. Thank you, La Quinta for accepting my 2, 80 pound dogs and good night stay.

I knew this hotel was being renovated but that was no excuse for stained sheets and pillows and a very uncomfortable bed. The bed was like sleeping in a dish. It appeared to be nice when I checked in but I was disappointed with our stay here.

The hotel/motel was under renovation but the price was terribly high (119). The elevator groaned, snapped, and barely made it to the second floor. The carpet was dirty. The towels were not luxurious. The bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Other La Quinta's have a wonderful breakfast but the food was minimal and greatly lacking. The staff in the hotel didn't seem to care about anything. I have stayed here twice--my stupid mistake but I wanted to be near to Sundance Resort. There are so many other motels/hotels in Orem and Provo. Believe me, the extra drive would be worth it. Avoid this place.

I had to cancel the hotel because our grand child had a bad accident and was in the hospital, and might loose a foot , he is only 4 and they told me that I would have to pay for the room anyway, I would think in a case like this you would have a little way on the cancellation.
