I love the location and the friendly employees.

The staff was very responsive to our needs; however, when we first checked in there was something on the ceiling, so we had to switch rooms. The next room was very fresh and clean and smelled like mint. We had a nice breakfast with a lot of choices for a continental breakfast. It is located near the Interstate, so it was extremely easy to get to.

This was our second stay at a La Quinta and I was disappointed both times. We were placed in a handicap room which I did not request. There were no small toiletries provided and barely enough towels and wash cloths. Room was not overly clean. Breakfast consisted of prepackaged rolls, yogurt, cereal and fruit. Not much!! There was a toaster, but no bread. Good thing there is a Denney's right across the parking lot.

Location on the north side of the road for easy access to highway was great. All the lights in the room, made it difficult to sleep. For north bound travelers through New Mexico, this was a great hotel. If the kids were with you bring their swimsuits, caused they would love the pool.

We were traveling with a little kitten and were asked by the cleaning staff if they could see the kitten. She said it was adorable. I told her sorry about the litter, she responded with a "no problem". We were also given a tray to carry breakfast back to the room for the kids that were still in bed. The beds were comfortable but small. The only thing that could've made our stay GREAT, would've been more sturdy chairs with no sides - poolside. Not everyone is petite; larger sized people need seating too. Otherwise, nice place to stay, nice and helpful staff. I would stay there again.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was a mix up with the keys for the rooms at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone it had nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful.

Reasonable price, good location and easy to find

Excellent facility , convenient location and great rates. Bath mat grown black mold underneath. We were satisfied and have already expressed our approval to several friends.

I love staying at La Quinta because of the great breakfasts. There was no waffles and the fresh fruit was an apple or banana. Other La Quinta's breakfasts are great.

Free breakfast. Room smelled horrible, bathroom was older, but stained. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The location to my business was excellent. The motel was great and was close to where I needed to conduct my business.

The front desk personnel were outstanding and helpful. We could not use the pool. It was covered up for some reason. We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We did have an issue with a leak in the ceiling. They gave us two options to correct the problem. They handled it quickly and to our satisfaction. I would stay there again.

It was conveniently located to shopping. The hotel could not fulfill a simple request of an extra blanket after 3 requests, later because of understaffing.

Close to intersate. We expected larger rooms and bigger beds, was not prepared for such a room. IT needed alot of updates, very old looking. Would not recommend to no one, especially with children.

Most quiet rooms I have ever stayed in! Comfortable! Very limited breakfast buffet. LaQuinta North is a great place to stay in Albuquerque. Don't be put off by its distance from Downtown, UNM and Old Town - all of them are less than 15 minutes away by car. The rooms are completely soundproof! (How quiet? While we were there, an elderly man backed his car through the brick wall into his room. It was 10 doors down from our room and we heard nothing, including the 10 rescue/police vehicles until we walked out for dinner!) The mattresses and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, much more so than what I've experienced in upscale or resort hotels. The room was spotlessly clean. Quiet rooms, comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, and extremely clean -- unless you are on a romantic get-away, what more do you want in a hotel? There were two downsides, which probably would affect business travelers more than leisure travelers: an extremely limited breakfast buffet (truly the worst selection I've experienced) and no business center to print online boarding passes or directions. This is a budget hotel, so the bathroom amenities provided and the decor is not the Four Seasons Beverley Hills, but for the price it can not be beat. We will be returning to Albuquerque several times in the coming year and we will stay here each time.

The room was clean and comfortable. Also, it was pet friendly. I did not like that a lot of travelers do not pick up after their pets.

Convenience of location. Did not have fresh coffee in the rooms & not enough towels and wash clothes. I love the fact that they have a recliner in the room. I cannot sleep lying down, and need either an adjustable bed or the recliner. There are very few hotel that have recliners.

Room was okay. Not at all what we expected, especially for the price. Low classmotel, not even what we consider a hotel.

The location is good. On Sunday morning, the hotel ran out of food for the continental breakfrast..
Date of Stay:

Staff was extremely helpful. Ventilator fan needed in bathroom for humidity. I've stayed in other La Quinta's and this was standard.
