The staff was superb. Anything we needed, they went out there way to make sure we were accomadated, Check in and check out was pretty smooth. Pool was pretty big and warm. The hours werent to bad for the pool either. Breakfast was said to end at 10 on the weekend but the food was starting to be put away at 9:30, not pretty cool, thought they should start that when it ends. I didnt get to make my waffle on the first day. But everything else was great! Great hotel for the affordable prices offered at cheaptickets.com.

Hotel was dirty and room did not feel clean.

It was ok since I was traveling alone, but my wife would have checked out and found another hotel. The rooms were clean, but the hallways and other common areas were not. The hallways were kind of dark as well. My room's window looked out at a brick wall. The staff was friendly and helpful. Access to the parking lot is screwy. Took me some driving around to figure out which streets would get me into the parking lot, and which ones wouldn't.

I was impressed by the setup of the room. It was invigorating comparable with other more expensive hotels. Pillows and sheets are clean. They don't smell sweaty like in others.

Front desk people very nice and helpful. My non smoking room still smelt like smoke, that was disappointing.

The rooms are not clean. Hallway smell moldy and also smell like smoke. For the price I paid, there's nothing in the room except fo 2 bed, 1 table, 1 chair and a coffee make. The hotel website advertised that they have microwave and minifridge. It look more like a motel than a hotel. Toilet is dirty and has dark water stain at the bottom. There were ants crawling around in the first room they gave me so I had to switch to another room. The mirror at the sink chipped along the bottom. Though the customer service is very pleasant and they do offer continental breakfast.

Great hotel, friendly staff. Only a few minor problems. I went to find a lost piece of jewerly under the bed curtains and it looked like nobody had swept under them in forever. I also found the remote control when I was ready to leave, under the bed curtains. Didn't know there was one. Also, coffee pot was dirty and hadn't been cleaned. However, the entire staff was so nice and the beds were extremely comfortable.

I have utilized this hotel before. Therefore, all of my expectations were met. It is a nice place to stay and I enjoy the cultural structure of the facility.

Breakfast was okay. Entrance on divided main street. Dogs in the building.

Was looking for inexpensive place to stay while visiting colleges in the VA Beach area over Columbus Day Wkend. Friendly staff, older hotel, but rooms were clean (no bugs!), good breakfast - could hear doors closing in halls, but just left radio on to tune out... no issues for the one night we stayed.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was very nice. Complementary breakfast was good too with self-serve waffles available. The only complaint I had was a slow-draining tub drain. It did work though.

Free continental breakfast. The room smelled funny, musty. The hotel was overall very clean, however our room did have a funny odor to it. Our friends also stayed there, and their room did not smell bad, so I'm not sure what the problem was.

This is a great deal, a short drive from the main strip, the boardwalk that is. I mistakenly booked our other, more fancy, much more expensive hotel for a day later then I wanted to start the vacation. The best way I could describe this hotel is this . . . there are 2 types of hotels, the type that is where you go ( a resort ) and the type you go to to sleep at and go out and do the activities that the town has to offer, which is what this is place is, and that is not a negative thing. I recommend this place!

Good location, minutes from Norfolk Airport. Plenty of places to eat and it was right of the interstate which made traveling to my locations a breeze.

The bed was comfortable. Carpet stains. The bed is comfortable, the room smelled. The stains in the carpet were numerous. Not my type of venue, although I stayed at a La Quinta in Mccallen Texas, and it was wonderful.

rooms too close together, we could hear everything that was going on, every door shutting, every word and dog bark. It was a miserable three days. The highlight was the lady that cleaned our room, she was very pleasant and nice.

We arrived late and everything was ready, the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Staff Bedding Hotel staff (front desk on check-in) very friendly. Good continental breakfast and convenient, easy entry/exit.
